Right outside is the bus stop for the 'My City bus' which is the public transport for all major routes. In one direction a short walk will take you past Clifton Beaches and on to the trendy holiday strip in Camps Bay, which offers all your amenities, doctors, chemists, shops and vibey bars and eateries. In the other direction a short drive or slightly longer stroll will take you into Sea Point, which offers a whole host of restaurants and the very popular promenade. The waterfront is only a 10 minute drive away, this is where you will find all the famous shops, tourist activities/trips/excursions and tourist information office and fabulous restaurants. The beaches Clifton boasts FOUR individually beautiful beaches that during the summer months (between October and April) are packed with locals and holiday makers alike. Huge, granite boulders separate the beaches and narrow staircases with steep steps provide their only access. Cliftons beaches are not only popular because they are stunning but also because they are often the most sheltered of beaches when that pesky south-easterly decides to blow. Plus they are manned by trained life-guards during the high season.Each beach has a distinctive atmosphere and when it come to deciding which beach to pick, it helps to know a little bit more about them.
