Visitors find this 82-acre lake an enjoyable getaway away from New York City's hustle and bustle. Fishing, hiking, kayaking or simply setting a towel out on the beach and soaking up the sun are just a few activities at Lake Huntington. Lake Huntington is a spring-fed lake in Sullivan County with an average depth of 17 feet. Public boating access is available along the western shoreline. Gasoline motors are allowed or Slip one of our kayaks,canoes, or peddle-powered boat into the water and set out for a day on the lake. Or, explore the forested shoreline with a snorkeling excursion. Angling for a fishing adventure at Lake Huntington? This spot may not be well known, but anglers have been known to reap rewards from this lake. Rainbow trout, largemouth bass, chain pickerel and panfish all makes their home at Lake Huntington. Beach fishing is also allowed along the shoreline here. The daily limit of trout is five fish.
