The Barefoot Lodge is great for couples, families (with kids), and groups of up to 12 people. The space Private, secluded, tranquil and sunny with beautiful lake and bush views and a huge wrap around deck. Brand new in 2015, the Lodge has the latest in warmth to keep you toastie on cold nights – full insulation, lush carpet, Contessa wood-burner, heat transfer system, wetback, unlimited gas hot water, double glazing and lovely comfy beds. A bathroom with shower and vanity, 2 separate toilets and an external gas hot shower easily cater for everyone. The Barefoot Lodge features an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with indoor outdoor flow and an awesome bar opening out onto the spacious deck. The roof extends 3 metres out over the deck, giving you shelter in any weather. Walk straight off the deck and down the steps to the wood-fired spa pool and lake. The possibilities for relaxing or adventuring are endless. The Lodge is perfect for any type of Retreat – Corporate Retreat, Yoga Retreat, Writers Retreat, Off-Grid Retreat. Enjoy all the modern comforts in a rustic Lodge setting. Guest access The Barefoot Lodge is perfectly positioned overlooking the lake, in a clear open space to make the most of the all-day sun and stunning lake and bush views. The property is 6 hectares and there is plenty of lawn and space around the house for games and fun. All bedrooms are sunny with either bush or lake views. Other things to note All beds have waterproof mattress protectors, pillows and pillow protectors, and duvets (Queen Beds) or lovely blankets (Bunk Beds). Cleaning and Linen fees are optional. You are welcome to clean the house yourself on departure, or pay the NZD$200 cleaning fee for us to clean it for you. Please note that all dishes must be done prior to departure and the property must be left in a tidy and respectable condition. All Linen (sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, tea towels) can be provided for NZD$250.
