Tumut River Barn

The Barn is a new loft style 3 bedroom fully self- contained cottage situated on our cattle farm with 500m of private frontage to the Tumut River. The cottage comes complete with a queen bed in each bedroom, spacious timber kitchen, dining and living areas. Large bathroom set to full disability standards. Paved BBQ area set in a beautiful garden. The ideal retreat to explore the Tumut area and Snowy Mountains or just relax by the river and fish for trout. Free Wi Fi. The space The Barn is situated on the site of one of the original settlements of Tumut. This historic farm was the site for the first bridge over the Tumut River and home to the largest English Elm tree in the world. Originally a millet growing farm, it is now used for cattle grazing. Guest access The Barn is set on the river flats with guests having full access to all of the farm including 500m of private frontage to the Tumut River where guests can relax and unwind, fish for trout and have campfires beside the river.
