Relax in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home by the sea. We love our cozy, comfortable, well-appointed house, and want our guests to also experience and enjoy the spectacularly colorful sunsets, star-studded night skies, breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife and the magic of this special location. The space FAQ Q: Can you describe the home and amenities? LAYOUT: This house by the sea, with a flowing floor plan seamlessly blends the scenic outdoors with the cozy indoors, with 2 decks in front and back. VIEWS: Almost every sunset around this home is a spectacular, long-lasting show of magnificent colors. Enjoy the constantly changing hues of the ocean from the living room, and front deck, looking beyond beautiful meadows dotted with grazing deer, loping jackrabbits, and sleek red fox. Relax on the back deck overlooking the golfing green and hills beyond. View an enchanting variety of wildlife, including birds, deer, and red fox from both decks. LOCATION: BLUFF TRAIL: Just 2 minutes away, across the meadow, is the renowned Sea Ranch-Gualala bluff trail where you can set off on miles and miles of scenic hiking, and walk to several beaches. GOLF: The scenic Sea Ranch Golf Course is only steps away if you are an avid golfer. REC CENTER: The Del Mar recreation center with its ocean view, heated swimming pool, spa, and several tennis courts, is a short bike ride/drive away. GUALALA: The house is conveniently located at the north end of Sea Ranch, just five minutes by car to the charming seaside town of Gualala, which has several grocery stores and restaurants. This makes it easy to stock up on supplies after you arrive, if you would rather not bring too much with you. AMENITIES: HOT TUB: Come back home from your adventures to a luxurious soak in the secluded, wind-protected hot tub on the back porch, and turn your gaze to the brilliant night sky - a canopy ablaze with stars. KITCHEN: The kitchen is well organized with brand new appliances, including an induction stove. LIVING ROOM: Comfortably and tastefully furnished, with books, board games, and large screen Smart TV BEDROOMS: Comfortable beds and beautiful views Q: Do you provide linens and towels? YES! All sheets and bath towels are provided for your comfort and convenience. We provide 2 beach towels for the hot tub. Should you need more, please bring your own towels for the hot tub. Q: Is the kitchen stocked with essentials? What do we need to bring? The kitchen has knives, utensils, pots and pans. There is a coffee grinder, drip coffee appliance, and several other coffee making appliances. Please feel free to use anything in the pantry. We endeavor to keep it stocked with cooking oil, salt, sugar and all purpose flour, but we are not always able to restock the pantry after guests leave, so it's a good idea to bring cooking oil, salt, spices and other ingredients you may need if you plan to cook, but don't want to visit Gualala for supplies as soon as you arrive. Q: Can you tell us more about the hot tub? The hot tub is in an enclosure off of the back deck. It is cleaned after every guest. The cleaning fee includes the hot tub maintenance fee. For additional information on how to use the controls, please go to Youtube and search for Hotspring Spas Controls (I'd love to list the URL, but AirBnB prohibits inserting links to other websites) Q: Do you provide passes to access the swimming pool, spa and tennis courts at the Sea Ranch Recreation Centers? A: Yes. There are four passes available at the house for access to the Rec Center facilities. Please remember to return them before departure to the spot where you found them. If the passes and parking permit are not found in their place after you check out, we will have to charge your deposit for the replacement fee. Q: Are pets allowed? A: Yes, one dog up to 50 lbs is allowed. There is a $75 pet fee per stay to cover the extra cleaning cost. Please keep your pets off the furniture and the beds, and away from the carpeted areas. Pets must be supervised all the time, and you may not leave your pet alone in the home, unless crated. If any dog-related damage is incurred, we will charge cleaning and/or replacement fees against your deposit. Q: What type of BBQ Grill is available? A: The outdoor BBQ grill is no longer available, in accordance with Sonoma County fire prevention code. Q: What about the fireplace? Do you provide newspaper, kindling, and matches? A: We provide the logs. It's a similar situation to the above with regard to paper, kindling, and matches. I replenish the stock every time I'm up there, but I can't always ensure supply between guests. You may bring your own. If you can't, supplies are available at the Gualala stores a short drive away. Q: Can't we just use the bath towels for the hot tub? A: We provide 2 beach towels for the hot tub. If you need more, please bring your own. The bath towels are provided for indoor use only. Q: Do we have to put dishes away before departure? A: It is recommended that you clean, dry, and put dishes away before you leave. However, PLEASE do not put away dirty dishes. Instead, load the dishwasher and start it before departure. Q: How do we dispose of garbage and recycling at check out? A: The garbage and recycling bins are in the trash enclosure in the front yard. Garbage pickup is Wednesday a.m. (in case your stay includes a Wednesday) Q: Can we request an early check-in or later check-out? When possible, I will try to accommodate an earlier check-in or a later check out, for a $35 per hour fee. Q: What factors should we consider when reviewing this home? What is the overall rating vs the individual ratings? AirBnB helps you to reflect on your stay by allowing you to rate it in several categories, such as cleanliness, accuracy, etc. Please note, however, that the OVERALL rating is NOT the average of your ratings in these categories . If you estimate that your OVERALL experience was somewhere between 4.5 and 4.9, AirBnB does not let you enter a rating at this finer level of granularity. In such a case, please know that it is fairer to round up to 5 than to round down to a 4! Q: Can you summarize the advantages of this home?
