The heritage-listed Vine Lodge house is located in the picturesque village of Exeter. Our historic homestead is available for short term rental. Step back in time and stay in one of the original homes in the district. Enjoy a private getaway in the beautiful Southern Highlands, with incomparable district views, gardens to stroll through and wood fire awaiting you. The property is ideal for family groups and friends, comfortably accommodating 14 people. The space Vine Lodge sleeps 14 people, in three connected heritage buildings – the Homestead plus the Outbuilding and the Old Stables wings (circa 1826) HOMESTEAD Sleeps up to 10 guests Contemporary kitchen (ideal for ‘cooking for a crowd’ with ample crockery, pots, pans, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher.) Refectory-style dining area, with fireplace. Cosy lounge room Five bedrooms (1 double with ensuite, 1 king with ensuite, 3 queen) Both ensuites have bathtubs One queen room is accessed via an undercover verandah OUTBUILDING (included when booking for 10 or more guests) This was the original kitchen wing outbuilding Sleeps up to 4 guests 1 bedroom (king bed) 2 single beds Bathroom OLD STABLES (included when booking for 14 guests) The original stable building offers a character filled open plan space Sleeps up to 2 guests 1 king bed Lounge area Bathroom Wifi can be unreliable in Old Stable We have a cap of 14 guests in total, in line with capacity of living/dining areas OUTDOOR SPACES Solar heated pool with plenty of space for lounging or soaking in the view BBQ and pizza oven (by prior arrangement) Covered verandahs Gorgeous grounds, fruit trees and vegetable garden Parking is plentiful, including carport for 3 cars Neighbouring horses and sheep Guest access Guests have full access to the Vine Lodge house and garden.
