From here you have a beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The house is located just 10 minutes from the idyllic Ruppertstal in one of the most beautiful valleys, nestled by the highest mountains of the Thuringian Forest south of the Rennsteig. The two towns of Zella St.Blasii and Mehlis united in 1919. Due to their historical past, there is a market and a church in both districts, in the middle of which the town hall is located. The new city center of the town is currently being built here. The local mountain of Zella-Mehlis is called Ruppberg. It is 866 m high and a popular excursion destination with a managed mountain hut, which is open from May 1 to October 31 on the weekends.
