Grange Farm Cottages, Wressle: "Annabel's Abode", "George's Gaff" and "Rusty's Retreat"! 3 separate self catering cottages situated on our farm. Hire all 3 together and have the large garden to yourselves. We are only insured to sleep a MAXIMUM of 12 in total. Please also see our website for special offers and discounts. The cottages are in a beautiful, rural setting yet only 10 minutes from the M62 (J37 Howden). Perfect location for families and friends to meet. There is a large grassed area which is ideal for group get togethers and outdoor games. Plenty of on site parking. There are lots of group activities to do locally from cocktail making classes here at the cottages, York races, golf, footgolf, pottery classes, local spa day, inflatable water assault course! I have a list with ideas of things to do that I send to all confirmed bookings. Wressle Grange, our large farmhouse with hot tub next door (sleeps 14) is available to hire. Separate property and separate drive. Patio doors open from the downstairs living area with stunning views across the farm. Each cottage has its own garden with picnic table. In front of the cottages there is a large grassed area. Perfect for children to run around safely/play football etc! There is also plenty of tarmac for children to ride bikes/scooters. We also provide various outdoor toys, scooters, pedal tractors as well as chalk boards. Each cottage offers an upstairs galleried bedroom with good quality, very comfortable kingsize bed. Downstairs is a twin room. There is an open plan kitchen/living area with a small breakfast bar in each cottage (see photos). Please note this is 3 separate cottages and therefore no communal dining space for 12. There are large picnic tables outside. The downstairs bathroom has a toilet. The bath also has an overhead shower. Rusty’s Retreat is strictly no pets though. Please consider future guests with allergies. Georges Gaff has a small Ninja Air Fryer. Please note we are only insured for a maximum of 12 people in the cottages. Additional guests will not be permitted. There are fishing lakes and golf courses close by. The beautiful market town Howden is just a short drive away. It has the fantastic Ashes park, Howden Minster and lots of great independent shops, cafes and pubs. Heating is via our biomass boiler. Wi-Fi, towels, bedding and hairdryers are all provided. A few basics to get you started are also included (washing up liquid, tea, coffee, milk, washing machine powder). Charcoal bbq also available to hire for £30. Includes 1 bag of charcoal, lighter and a pack of firelighters. Riverlands, Faxfleet is only 15 Miles away and The Oaks golf club is just a short drive away. Skipwith and Escrick are approximately a 20 minute drive from here. Bunnyhill is also 20 minutes and Carlton Towers isn’t far. Loftsome Bridge is just up the road! We are also very well located for business. Howden, Brough, Selby, Doncaster, Goole and Drax power station are all close by. Travel cot available to hire. Highchair and children's indoor and outdoor toys are all available to borrow on request. (Minimum 48 hours notice). Celebration groups are very welcome however no foil confetti please (we find it for months after)! Please be mindful when decorating, ideally string and bluetac, no Sellotape. The cottages need to be looking nice for the next guests too, thank you. Helium canisters to be taken home. There is an additional charge if left for us to dispose of. Guest access You will have complete use of all 3 cottages, your garden and the large grassed garden in front of your cottage. While fenced it isn’t completely secure for dogs. The house next door is clearly fenced/hedge and has its own drive and car park. Completely separate from the cottages. Other things to note We are a working arable farm. Occasionally there will be tractors/farm machinery in the fields. Dogs are not allowed in Rusty’s Retreat. This is our pet free cottage. Do not leave dogs unattended. It is a fenced garden but not secure. We do have CCTV in operation for the farm and cottages. Padel courts are on site and available to hire to the public.
