Sid’s Place

Sid’s Place is located on our equestrian property on the Dorset/Hampshire border which is equal in distance between the pretty market towns of Wimborne in Dorset and Ringwood in Hampshire making it ideal for exploring both counties. The New Forest National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Coastline are on our doorstep. Adjoining our main property Sid’s Place is totally independent and a perfect place to catch up with nature and get away from busy life! The space Nestled in a tranquil setting amongst our horses and ponies with the forest literally 50m to the rear of our property it is a great place to enjoy peace and quiet and just enjoy the sounds of nature. Hurn Forest offers trails for walking, running and cycling after which you can relax and maybe enjoy a bbq or a peaceful cuppa on the decking. Other places to visit very nearby are Moors Valley Country Park, Avon Country Park, Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre and Snowtrax Alpine Activity Centre. Nearby are the pretty market towns of Wimborne and Ringwood, both offering a host of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Guest access A decking area to the rear of Sid’s Place is an ideal area to relax and enjoy a cuppa or something a little more fizzy! Your are welcome to wander around the property and meet our horses. Our highland cows are a few fields down our lane and are very popular! Just to the rear of our property is access to Hurn Forest where you can enjoy numerous walks or runs! Other things to note If you wish to charge an electric vehicle overnight there will be an extra charge of £6 per night.
