Take turns preparing delicious holiday meals through in the kitchen/diner, with its large table to gather round, with the fresh produce you have bought. There is also a conservatory, with field views, where you can unwind with your book and a cup of tea. At the end of each exciting day, head up to to the king-size bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room, the other king-size or the twin. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor. A utility space and storage for bikes and other outdoor gear can be found in the garage, together with a handy downstairs WC. Soak up the sunshine in the garden and cook lunch or supper out here on the disposable BBQ in the summer months. There is ample parking at the cottage. Stroll 1 mile from the property to see Dunraven Castle and its walled gardens. Ogmore Castle, a Grade I-listed castle ruin, 2 miles away, is also worth seeing. The village of Ogmore-by-Sea, 1.5 miles away, is also known for its scenic beach, shops and eateries. Golfers will be happy with the plentiful courses in the area. The new community centre coffee shop is worth a visit for the view alone but the cakes can also be recommended.
