You will have 3 bedrooms; a king, a twin, and a small single bedroom all with wonderful views of open countryside. Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels all provided. A family bathroom with freestanding double ended bath and separate shower. Downstairs, the large living / dining room has a leather Chesterfield, separate sofa, a single armchair and a contemporary oak dining table and chairs. Large patio doors provide a stunning view of the garden and surrounding countryside. There is a Morso Squirrel wood burning stove with a complimentary basket of logs provided. You’ll have a delightful sunroom with south facing views over the garden and fields, and you can watch the birds on the feeders. The well equipped modern kitchen is complete with dishwasher, oven and fridge, a microwave, nespresso coffee machine and USB points for your tablets and phones; in short everything you should need. The large utility room has a fridge freezer, washing machine and space for bikes and muddy boots. Tea towels, dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid are all provided. Outside, there’s a patio area with table and chairs, and a BBQ. Beyond the patio is the large private lawned cottage garden with mature trees and flower beds. Beyond the garden are open fields. Guest access We have private parking for 2 cars. Access to the downstairs is level with no steps apart from a single step between the living room and sun room. The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. There is a single flight of stairs with a hand rail. There is a stair gate at the top of the stairs and a door at the bottom. We have a high chair and a fireguard and can supply a travel cot on request so we are very child friendly. Access to the patio and garden from the house involves a couple of steps. Other things to note Health and Safety warning. Children must be supervised at all times whilst in the garden. There is a stream at the bottom of the garden below a wall. A fence protects against accidental falls but must not be relied upon to safeguard children. Also, be aware that natural limestone can be slippy when wet. Take due care in the garden and patio. Bringing a Dog? - We charge £20 which will be added to your quote on booking. We ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in the cottage and that you do not allow it on the furniture or upstairs. No portable hot tubs or pools allowed.
