Parkgate House is a large detached country property in West Bagborough, Nr. Taunton, Somerset, England. Set in half an acre of secure private gardens with stunning views of the Quantock Hills (AONB), it's the perfect place for getting family and friends together! With 5 bedrooms, sleeping 12, a large farmhouse style kitchen, dining & games area, outside splash pool and children's play area Parkgate House offers you everything you need for that well deserved get away. The space Parkgate House is a beautiful rural property with an enclosed garden, we welcome dogs and even have a purpose built dog room with secured outside kennel off the utility room. Make the most of this idyllic rural area, recharge those batteries, take in the views, wildlife or even spot of stargazing. We have the Quantock Hills on our doorstep ready to be explored. Follow in Coleridge and Wordsworth’s footsteps as you explore the moors, the woods and the undulating farmland. Guest access Parkgate House is a detached property set in half an acre of secure garden. The whole space is yours for the duration of your stay. Other things to note Please note that we have a 2 night minimum stay policy. We also only accept breaks of 7 nights over the school holidays with arrival / departure days on Fridays only. Please note that the pool is not heated and will only be open to guests from the end of May to Mid September weather depending. We reserve the right to keep the pool closed depending on the local weather. We have provided towels that are for use inside the property. Please provide your own towels for use in the pool / garden or days out. Dogs are welcome here at Parkgate. We request that dogs do not go upstairs and you keep them off the furniture as much as possible. If your pooch cant settle anywhere but the sofa please bring a blanket with you for them to sleep on. We have signed up to Air BnB's advanced cleaning protocols to help keep ourselves and our guests safe during these uncertain times. Due to the time needed to thoroughly clean the property we are unable to offer earlier check in / check out times. It is very important that you vacate the property by the allocated time. We also make every effort to be environmentally conscious, our cleaning products are free from harsh chemicals, fragrances, phosphates and parabens, they are also eco certified, vegan and cruelty free. Our system is refillable to remove any single use plastic. The same with our hand soap and washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. We also use a lasting surface sanitiser which kills 99.9% of bacteria and keeps surfaces protected for 7 days. We do not allow fireworks, lanterns or drones.
