La Plume d'Oie is a charming stone built property which overlooks the river Dordogne . There are two entrances one in the front and the other by passing through the secluded rear garden equipped with large dining table and barbecue for alfresco dining & entering into the spacious kitchen from where you can access the dining room. A chestnut spiral staircase leads you to the three double en suite bedrooms & sitting room with its antique terra cotta floor and comfortable chairs and sofa. . The space The property has much character with wood furniture terracotta and chesnut floors. Two bedrooms& the dining room have small balconies overlooking the river The rear third bedroom has views of the 300ft. cliff and garden. With its thick walls the property is kept cool during the summer months. All the rooms are tastefully furnished and styled with light cool decor Since its first inception in 1981 La Plume d'Oie has welcomed guests from around the globe and from all backgrounds. We want to make your holiday in this magic environment a very happy one. Guest access The property can take up to 6 people. The kitchen is well equipped with large sink, washing up machine, electric cooker, fridge/freezer,toaster, microwave, electric kettle, washing machine , coffee maker, tea pots glasses cups cutlery plates etc...There is a very comfortable living room with reading BBC TV/video and other channels wifi. There is a patio garden with gas BBQ and outside seating in the shade. Ideal for an aperitif at night with great views of the rock & cliif in the background. Just infront of the property are steps going down to the river; a great place to take an early morning dip! . Other things to note Those interested in bird watching and flora will be well rewarded as it is an area rich and diverse and the river is well stocked with over 30 speices of fish including salmon trout & pike.
