The Garden Suite was created in 1940 when the Inn at the Gorge was converted from a single family home to a guesthouse. The Inn at the Gorge Suites feature everything you're likely to need while on vacation. An updated historic Inn with plenty of character operated in a low-key contemporary format. We're here to support your experience, not to distract from your vacation. The Garden Suite features two bedrooms - one with a queen bed featuring a memory foam mattress and one with full extra long bed, the queen size bed shares space with the kitchen and with breakfast counter. Though there are two bedrooms, there is no door between the rooms. The bathroom contains a clawfoot cast-iron soaking tub. Bright, airy, comfortable and convenient. An ideal home base for your visit to Hood River. The kitchen is fully appointed with all basic cooking and dining accoutrements including a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee-maker, teapot and sink. The cabinets contain whatever pots and pans, dishes, plates, and utensils you may need to cook, eat, and reheat. The Garden Suite is spacious for 2 guests, and can cozily accommodate 4-5 guests. Additional guest fees do apply. Television is provided with Chromecast device allowing you to stream your own media via our complimentary hi-speed WI-FI using your phone or tablet. Complimentary cable TV access is available in all rooms. The Inn features several private guest rooms. In addition to your suite feel free to make use of all the Inn's public spaces including our lobby, wrap-around porch, back Terrace, backyard, back deck with shared hot tub. The Inn at the Gorge prides itself on preparing your accommodations to meet your needs before you arrive while also supporting your travel experience throughout your stay - without being intrusive. We recognize most travelers come to visit Hood River and that your privacy and personal time is valuable. The Inn operates on a self check-in policy. A quick 5 minute walk from all of downtown Hood River's restaurants, bars, breweries, tasting rooms and shops! While at the Inn you'll be surrounded by trees and gardens and almost forget how close you are to everything Hood RIver has to offer. Closest of all to the Inn are two of Hood River's favorite local hangouts - Farmstand and Kickstand. These community and social hubs have some of the best food, drinks, and vibes in town! Both are great places for breakfast and lunch. Kickstand is open late for dinner and drinks, with great outdoor space + fire pit, regular live music, and a relaxed vibe all within a short walk, to / from the Inn! Free off-street parking in the Inn at the Gorge parking lot for one vehicle per accommodation. More than 1 vehicle? Let us know on the morning of your arrival and we may have an additional off-street space available. If not, there is plenty of free street parking available as well. Most people find Hood River very walkable. Located just a quick walk from Hood River's best dining, shopping, and breweries, Inn at the Gorge offers you all the comforts of home in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere (See more details on Location below).
