Clifton House is nestled in the heart of Lynmouth and is steeped in history, as the local Post Office it played a central part in the Louisa Lifeboat Overland Launch in 1899 and also the devastating flood of 1952. The doorway of Post House Interiors shop, underneath Clifton House, has a plaque showing the height the flood waters reached. The apartment offers an attractive double bedroom and a spacious living room both with great sea views.  The spacious living room has dual aspect views. At the rear a well equipped kitchen has a dining area with hillside views and provides everything you will need for dining in.  A large bathroom with bath and walk in shower completes the accommodation. With all local amenities including a  selection of individual shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs on your doorstep you may wish to leave your car in the allocated parking space approximately 50m away whilst you explore the area on foot.  There are wonderful coastal, riverside and countryside walks that can be accessed from the village including famous beauty spots such as Watersmeet and The Valley of Rocks. Exmoor offers a wide diversity of countryside, flora and fauna including the famous Exmoor Red Deer whilst hidden coves and wide sandy surfing beaches are all within a scenic 30 minute drive.
