CADDO LAKE WATERFRONT on Big Cypress Bayou!

The Hideaway Lodge on Big Cypress Bayou is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life! Pack your bags and enjoy the peace this cove has to offer. This home is at a PRIME location on the Karnack River where you can sit on the deck under large cypress trees and watch the boats travel up and down the canal. Take the kayaks and paddle boats, fish and explore! Gorgeous sunsets await - This home has it all including a 60 in flat screen TV, wifi, leather couch, & large covered balcony! The space This home offers a large wrap around covered porch for rocking, reading and relaxing outside while out of the sun. For those sun bathers, we have a cat-walk that extends to another large deck looking over the river with chairs to bask in the sun or play cards on a beautiful day. Inside the home there are three bedrooms, and two full baths and a large open kitchen, living and dining room area. This home is in the perfect location to enjoy all the amenities Caddo has to offer! Enjoy alligator, seafood, and live music, at the famous Big Pines Lodge(10 min) while sitting on the patio looking out onto the river. Enjoy hiking at Caddo Lake State park(11 min), and Lighthouse Grocery Store(3 Min) is just down the road for any last minute necessities. Fishing guides and swamp tours are a popular tourist attraction ! A boat slip on our pier is available for your use and party cove aka "The Cathedral" is a seven minute boat ride down the Bradley canal. Our pier is a hot spot for fishing. Many large bass have been caught off of this pier so bring a pole or use ours and cast the day away! Caddo is known for having all four seasons and EACH are beautiful. In the fall, the leaves turn orange and the moss hangs over them and it is absolutely picturesque. From our home, visit Fall Creek Vineyards for a wine tasting in Marshall only 20 min away, or head to the boats in Shreveport(40 min) to casinos. You can even drive your boat from our house to the Shreveport casinos and dock there! Ride by boat(40 min) or drive(20 min) to Jefferson to have dinner, shop and eat fudge/ice cream. There are so many fun things to do in and around Caddo. A week stay just wouldn't be long enough! Come see what this great little area has to offer! Other things to note There are two full bathrooms within the house. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub while the other bathroom is a shower. We spray quarterly for bugs. We are waterfront property covered by beautiful cypress trees. While we do our best to keep bugs away, please know that you may see bugs on the property or even in the house from time to time. Please keep windows and doors closed to avoid this during your stay. The house is very clean and very well maintained and we hope you love your time here!
