Our place is close to Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Musée d'Orsay, Musée Branly. French 1st (American 2nd) floor without elevator (20 steps staircase). The space The studio offers a well-equipped space and is very luminous, as it overlooks a lovely and peaceful inner garden. It has an entrance, a kitchenette with an induction heating cooktop with 2 hot surfaces, refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, toaster, rice cooker, electric kettle, and all the cooking and diner equipment, a bathroom with glassed-in shower cabin, an ample supply of towels, toilet, and a washer(dryer; if one could handle how to use only, so dryer is not officially listed on the amenities of this room but it existe). The bathroom has no door, but there's a thick curtain to partition it off properly from entrance/kitchen area of the studio, and there's a real door between the kitchen and the room. So if you close that door, you can partition the bathroom off from the room completely. The studio has a window overlooking a pretty inner garden, an all-furnished comfy interior set up, a closet, cable TV, broadband cable WIFI, closets, and lots of light. Hardwood floor. The residence has central heating and a permanent hot-water supply system. French 1st (American 2nd) floor (white marble 20 steps stable staircase). Building's main entrance on rue de l’Université, the seconde entrance on rue Malar. You’ll love our place because of our hospitality, romantic garden view, and comfy interior set up. Our place is good for solo adventurers, solo business travelers, very/extremely close friends, couples, families (parents and child), and pets (small dog only, less than 10 kg/20 lbs) 🎈Our place is a studio (no separated/independent bed room), so it is ideal for leisure or sightseeing for solo adventurers, very/extremely close friends or family, or for a "solo" business trip, but it is small and there is not much privacy at all, so it's definitely not suitable for a business trip with several business related people (boss, colleagues, collaborators, etc.). And if you prematurely confirm a reservation for a multi-person business trip without reading this notice, we will explain the situation to you and possibly recommend that you cancel your reservation. There is an ingenious slide-away queen size bed that glides up to the ceiling (2m x 1,60 m / 78" x 63": Due to the height of the bed (± 90cm/35”, using a 2 steps stepladder to get in), this studio is not recommended to people with mobility problems or obesity), plus a single bed (2m x 80 cm / 78" x 31.5"). There are full 3 sleeping spaces, so to say. However, this small studio is not suitable at all for 3 guests to stay. (Even if there are only two guests, if they want to sleep in two separate beds, one has to crawl under the queen-size bed to get to the single bed) Therefore, the maximum capacity of this studio is 2 guests of very close relationship. Our ingenious slide-away queen size bed glides up to the ceiling. The beauty of this bed system is that during the day, the bed can be glided up and stored to the ceiling to make effective use of the living space underneath, and at night it can be glided down without moving the furniture to sleep. This is not a Murphy bed. 🎈"Two-duvet setup/Swiss-style bedding“ The double bed in this room has two separate duvets for two guests to sleep with individual comforter by default (All double beds in five of our Airbnb listings default to these specifications), in order to ensure the individual comfort for sleeping. In Switzerland, Germany, and other German-speaking regions, it's common to have two separate duvets for a double bed instead of one large one. 🎈Caution: This is a Parisian-size small studio. It’s not large, but it’s well equipped and the space is used in an optimum way. It’s as comfortable as you might expect. Especially our ingenious slide-away queen size bed that glides up to the ceiling in this small room is, because of the height of the bed, not recommended for anyone with mobility issues due to obesity, age, or health reasons. In Paris, there are many great luxury hotels if you have enough budget (over 800€ per night), but unfortunately we do not know of any other decent Parisian accommodations in the same price range as ours that have a couch, dining table, kitchen or washing machine. Hotels in that price range usually have really tiny rooms (much smaller than our studio) so small that you have to live on the bed = no other space to spread your suitcases. For your arrival, you will be met by either one of us or by an assistant. Marc speaks English, French. Rumi speaks English, French and Japanese, and our assistants speak English, French, Japanese, and Spanish. There is a handbook in the studio with all the necessary information. You can not find the apartment by number/apt # in parisien residences. There’s no number/apt # nor name on the door in France/Paris in general, (except perhaps in social apartment complexes and other low-cost housing complexes) for the security/safety/secrecy reason. For this reason, we have check-in assistants to greet guests and explain not only the location and facilities of the studio, but also the facilities of the residence. The check-in is set at 3 pm, but if you'd like to check in earlier, contact us. We can arrange the free early check-in/ late checkout in accordance with the availability. It's often the case that the apartment had been cleaned and prepared earlier, so you'd be welcome to check in earlier. In that case, even very early check-ins are possible (at no extra cost). However, check-in deadline is 22pm, and basically there is no check-in after 10pm. The same goes for checkouts, set at 11 am, but if you need a later check-out, contact us. We can arrange the free early check-in/ late checkout in accordance with the availability. >> Super late check in. When/if you arrive after our check in deadline (22:00/10pm) in the late night, we may ask our assistants if someone could do the extremely late check-in after 22:00/10pm with extra charge since they all live outside Paris. 22:00 ~ 23:30 with 60€ cash extra charge, after 23:30 ~ 01:00am with 100€ cash extra charge (if you arrive before 23:30 it’ll be 60€, but after 23:30, the charge you pay cash to the check in person is 100€.) In case of unforeseen incident : No check-in after 1am even if it costs 100€. In the event that the flight / transport has been delayed and you cannot come before 10pm (or 1am with extra charge), the check-in will automatically be rescheduled "after 11am the next morning". For transfers between the airport and the residence, we kindly recommend using an official taxi from the airport taxi stand or ride-hailing services like Uber or Lyft for a safe and convenient journey. Also, send us your arrival information (Flight numbers, in particular, are absolutely essential information) so we can check the ETA and arrange for your arrival at our place. Other things to note We have another studio next door with the exact same facilities, surface area and price, overlooking the same luminous courtyard, in case you'd be interested in renting two places for your family or friends.
