Unique and Secluded Beach House on Kirkøy Hvaler

Unique and secluded beach house with private grounds of 4 acres, large private beaches, jetty and 200m sea frontage. The beach house is located on the east side of Kirkøy with views towards Nordre and Søndre Sandøy and Herføl. Built in 1931 and fully refurbished in 2017 with a new kitchen and bathroom, mains water and drainage. The property has parking for 2 cars and is 1.7 hours driving time from Oslo. Enjoy the calm, the views and the space without being overlooked by neighbours close by. The space The first floor consists of: Entrance lobby, with space for coats Bathroom, with high pressure shower, WC and washbasin. Kitchen, with full range of units and appliances including induction hob, microwave and normal oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Full range of crockery (Portmeirion – Botanic Garden) and glassware. Living room extending to 30 m² with fireplace, sofa group, TV (RiksTV, Netflix etc), wi-fi (Starlink Ultra Fast) and hi-fi, cupboard, bookcase and dining table. Selection of Books, Games and DVDs provided. Dining room with seating for at least 8 people and doors to terrace, which has a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Outside area with table and seating for 8 and large parasol umbrella, alongside large Weber gas BBQ. Bedroom 1, with two single beds, chest of drawers and hanging facilities. Bedroom 2, with 160 cm double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and hanging facilities. Lobby leading to the second floor. The second floor consists of Lobby with spacious cupboard and hanging facilities. Bedroom 3, with two single beds, bedside tables, chest of drawers, chaise longue and hanging facilities. Bedroom 4 with 180 cm double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, spacious cupboard and hanging facilities. All the bedrooms are fully equipped with summer duvets, Egyptian cotton sheets and full-size towels. Both down and non-down duvets are available. The grounds: The grounds are partly wooded and have several areas designed for relaxation and outside dining, with several outdoor seating areas and facilities for grilling. Guests are free to use, at their own risk, the house’s bicycles and rowing boat. The sandy beach slopes gently into the bay providing ideal swimming conditions. Our pier is also available if you wish to bring your own boat. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire property and grounds.
