Charming stone house on 3 levels with private garden where a small fishing stream flows. 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (one with bathtub). Minimum stay of 3 nights (bed linen/towels included). Exceptionally 2 nights if you bring sheets/towels. The space Cosily-furnished property on 3 levels in the Maurienne Valley, in the heart of the French Alps. Level 1: 2 double bedrooms en-suite; back porch with access to garden. Level 2: large open-plan kitchen/dining and sitting-room area; bathroom (with bath); Level 3: 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds. The outstanding surrounding scenery offers superb walking opportunities in summer, with spectacular displays of wild flowers, crystal clear lakes, forests and beautiful clear mountain air. The rugged and varied nature of the terrain here means that you can walk through pine forests, alpine meadows and high mountainous areas whilst taking in the abundant wildlife. Other summer activities include: swimming lake with beach 5 minutes away, mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing and via ferrata. The Maurienne Valley, with its multitude of cols and climbs, is also a cyclist’s paradise and features every year in the mountain stages of the Tour de France. In winter the 3-Valleys Express from Orelle, 25 minutes away, links to the world's largest ski area and there are other resorts within approximately 30 minutes.
