Bracciano ist eine typische italianische Kleinstadt mit einer romantischen Altstadt, die sich seit dem Mittelalter allmählich um das noch sehr erhaltene Schloss entelte. Der Ort (288 mM, ca 25.000 Einwohner) liegt auf einer Anhöhe etwa 120 m über dem Lago di Bracciano, ca 45 km entfernt nördlich-westlich von Rom. Von der ruhigen, kleinen, verkehrsfreien Piazza Padella (Pfannenplatz) führt der unabhängige Eingang in das stilvoll renovierte dreistöckige Haus (90 m²). Der Gewölberaum des Erdgeschosses bietet selbst an heißen Sommertagen angenehme Kühlung; hier sind eine Sitzecke, WC und ein steinernes Waschbecken eingerichtet. Die Treppe führt hoch in den hellen Salotto mit offenem Kamin, Essbereich, Kochnische, Schlafcouch (franz. Bett) und Blick auf die lichte Piazza. Ein herrlicher Blick über die Dächer der Altstadt auf den Bracciano See bietet sich vom Balkon des obersten Stockes: ein Wohnschlafzimmer (2 - 4 Schlafplätze, sowie Baby Bett verfügbar) mit Bad. Typische Restaurants, Pizzerien, Wein/Bierbars, Cafés, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen um die Ecke; das sehenswerte Schloss ist in 3 Min, der Bahnhof mit guter Anbindung nach Rom (50-60 Min) in 10-15 Min zu zu Fußweg führt in etwa 15-20 Min hinunter zum See mit Sandstrand und Strandrestaurants/Cafés. Das nördliche Latium bietet neben der "Ewigen Stadt" mit seinen zahlreichen etruskisch-römische Kulturstätten, mittelalterlichen Städtchen, Thermalquellen und Naturparks noch viele weitere kulturelle und sportliche Höhepunkte und touristische nicht überlaufene landschaftliche Reize. Und das vor den Toren Roms einerseits, und nur einen Sprung vom Meer entfernt! The vacation house Casa Padella is one of the ancient homes in the historical center of Bracciano. Bracciano is typical small italian town with a romantic historical center, which crew since middle age gradually around the old well preserved castle. The town (288 o.s.l.) is located about 120 m above the beautiful Lake Bracciano, ca 45 km north-west of Rome. The 90 sq meter house on three floors has been completely restored in its ancient style. The independent entrance from the lovely quiet pedestrian Piazza Padella (pans square) leads to an entrance hall with a vaulted ceiling, equipped with a little library, seats, toilet and an original stone sink which offers a cool respite from the hot summer sun. Two windows looking to the little square on the second floor illuminate the living room which has a fireplace, dinette, cooking nook and a double sofa bed. On the third floor is the bedroom (2-4 sleeping accommodation, baby bed available) with a bathroom and balcony with a stunning view over the roofs of the ancient houses to the lake. Very nearby you will find characteristic restaurants, pizzerias, wine/bierbars, cafes and shops . Wandering through the tiny cobblestoned streets of the ancient medieval town you will reach in 3 min the remarkable castle or in 15 min the train station with trains leaving for Rome (in ca 50 min) or Viterbo every 30 min. A 20 min walk will take you down to the lovely sand beach on the lake with some beach restaurants and bars. La casa vacanza Casa Padella è una delle antiche abitazioni del centro storico di Bracciano e si affaccia sull´omonima piccola e silenziosa piazza. Il bel centro storico di Bracciano è un tipico borgo medievale disposto intorno al Castello degli Odescalchi, uno dei meglio conservati in tutta Italia. È situato a circa 120 m sopra lo stupendo Lago di Bracciano (288 s.l.m.), ca 45 km to north ovest di Roma. La casa di 90 mq su tre livelli è completamente rinnovata, ma fedele al vecchio stile. L´ingresso indipendente sulla piazzetta introduce ad un locale con volta a botte dotato di una piccola libreria, angolo relax, WC ed un sink in pietra, che Vi offers a fresco ristoro nelle calde giornate estive. Al primo piano due finestre si affacciano sulla piazzetta ed illuminano lo spazio salotto con camino, zona pranzo, angolo cottura e un divano (letto). Al secondo piano camera da letto (2-4- posti letto, baby letto availibile) con balcone con una splendida vista del Lago e sui tetti delle vecchie case. Passeggiando tra le stradine ed i vicoli dell'antico borgo, raggiungete in 3 min il castello, che merita d'esser visitato. Nelle vicinanze trovate ristoranti, osterie con prodotti tipici della regione, pizzerie e bar caratteristici. Per mercato e supermercati non camminate più di 5 min e in meno di 15 min siete alla stazione ferroviairearia con collegamenti per Roma (ca 50 min) o Viterbo ogni mezz´ora. Un sentiero pedonale conducce in 20 min alla spiaggia del lago con ristoranti e bar. The 90 mc detached house on three levels is completely renovated, but faithful to the old style. L´ private entrance, which overlooks the small silent Padella Piazza, leads into a room with a vault ceiling, with ´a small library, relaxing corner, toilet, and a stone sink, which offers you a cool place even on the warmer days of summer. L´staircase leads to a very bright salotto, whose two windows open to the small square, with a fireplace, dinette, kitchenette, a sofa (bed). From the´ upper floor s´offers a panoramic view of the laked´a beautiful balcony from the bedroom (2 -4 seats bed, baby bed available) with a bath. Walking between the narrow streets of the old borgo , we reach the castle for 3 min, which is worth to see. Very close we find restaurants with typical products of the region, pizzerias or characteristic cafes. To make purchases you do not even need 5 min and the station is less than 15 min away, with a connection of trains to Rome (ca 50 min) and Viterbo every half hour.
