Step inside Mountain View Lodge on our peaceful woodland estate and you'll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of home. Fully equipped modern kitchen, dining room area, bathroom with shower, king size bedroom and a double bedroom. Situated on the deck is a Scandinavian wood fired hot tub which you can add as a special treat for an additional £75. Outdoor L shaped sofa, table and chairs. Experience stunning views over 6 counties. The space Mountain View Lodge is situated in a site of outstanding natural beauty and special scientific interest. The property is approached from the main B4214 along a private road that winds its way through an 8 acre woodland to reveal breathtaking views across 6 counties. This property has a large wrap around deck with views across the Brecon Beacons from the front gardens, woodland to the side and a panorama to the other side. The space is well furnished in a contemporary style with a log burning stove for cosy nights in. Garden furniture and barbecue are provided beside the deck (charcoal not included), in addition to a hot tub (extra £75 charge). The hot tub will be lit on your day of arrival and includes one basket of logs. Extra logs can be purchased from the main house for £6 per bag. Dogs are welcome for £25 per dog. All extras are PAYABLE DIRECT. Pizza oven is an extra £20 charge and includes all the pizza equipment, fire lighting kit and dough balls. Sorry we cannot cater for gluten free. Guest access Guests have access to our 12 acre woodland which is home to an abundance of wildlife including badgers and deer. Other things to note All dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog (maximum of 3 per booking). PAYABLE DIRECT. All dogs MUST BE DECLARED BEFORE ARRIVAL. Please note that if you require the extra bedroom (but you are only a party of 2), an extra charge of £15 per night applies for the cost of laundry. Please note all guests must be declared before arrival. There is ian extra charge of £15 per person per night after the first 2 guests. If all guests are not declared upon booking, the extra charge for the guests will be payable prior to check in. Unfortunately you will not be able to check in until the extra charges for additional guests have been paid. Hot tub is £75 extra charge and payable direct. Some guests have asked why the hot tub is not included in the price. There are a number of reasons for this. Firstly not all guests wish to use the hot tub and many are unable to use them for a multitude of reasons for example pregnancy, health conditions, disability etc. The costs of purchasing and managing hot tubs has to be covered and so we feel that it is only fair to make it is an option along with the many others on offer so that guests only pay for the things they want. In addition to this there are environmental reasons. It would not make any sense to heat a hot tub for someone who does not wish to use it. Please note that once ordered, the hot tub must be cancelled 24 hours before arrival in writing otherwise the payment will be due (even if you no longer wish to use it. This is because it takes 4 hours to prepare). A fire lighting kit for your log burner can be supplied at an additional charge of £10. This includes fire lighters, kindling and one bag of logs. If you would like logs for your stay then please let us know prior to arrival so we can get them ready for you. Alternatively guests are welcome to purchase their own from any local shop. Please note that a positive covid test no longer restricts travel, therefore no refunds can be given for guests who do not wish to travel. Please ensure you have the appropriate medical/travel insurance. All guests are required to sign terms and conditions before checking into the property. These will be sent via email prior to your arrival.
