Thanks for your interest in booking my beach condo! The atmosphere here is a clean, family friendly, laid back vacation environment on one of the quieter streets in the south side of Dewey Beach! The entire condo unit is yours. There are two bedrooms each with queen beds, a full bath with stand up shower, living area with HD flat screen TV + free cable and WiFi, comfortable sleeper sofa, full kitchen with appliances, and fully stocked with cooking supplies as well as several coffee makers (Keurig, drip, and Nespresso). Queen bed sheets, shower towels, and shower essentials will also be provided for you, with beds made prior to your check-in. Also, 2 Dewey Beach street parking passes, beach chairs, and beach umbrella/accessories are all provided for you at no extra charge! (BYO beach towel and sunscreen). The outdoor common space/patio area is a Shared Space amongst the 6 units of the HOA. Before booking please confirm you’ve read the House Rules against excessive noise and drunk/disorderly behavior. Also, the entire complex is non-smoking, and we ask that you keep all personal belongings inside the unit (instead of the hallway or outdoor common area). Max occupancy is 6 at all times. Your self check-in is simple with your custom keypad code sent to you after booking from Yale Security - just type your code followed by the checkmark button to unlock the smart lock. Checkout is also simple - I just ask that you pile your used sheets/towels at the foot of the washer, start the dishwasher, return the furniture to how you found it, and turn the Nest thermostat back to "Cool to 72" in the summer, and "Heat to 62" in the winter. (When I’m in meetings I turn my cell ringer off, so if there’s an urgent situation please call multiple times so I know it’s an emergency!) The condo is located bayside of coastal highway, on a quiet and relaxing street. Walk to the beach, Rehoboth Bay Marina, and restaurant venues within Dewey. 1 block from beautiful bayside dining at The Rusty Rudder and The Lighthouse. 5 blocks from the legendary live music venue the Bottle & Cork. 7 blocks from The Starboard and their world famous brunch and bloody mary bar. Two Dewey Beach Street Parking Passes included at no extra charge. Street parking is designated by the lime green ParkMobile signs. After September 15th and before May 15th the parking passes are not needed, as all town street parking is free during that time. The Jolley Trolley can take you from Dewey to the Rehoboth Boardwalk for just a small fee! $5 round trip, $3 one way, $1 for kids 5 and under. Closest pickup location is Read Ave, one block north. The shuttle can be tracked online at the Jolley Trolley website. Two Dewey Beach street parking passes are included at no extra charge and will be on the desk by the door when you get there. Town street parking is designated by the lime green ParkMobile signs. After September 15th and before May 15th the parking passes are not needed, as all town street parking is free during that time. (there is no driveway or “on property” parking so we use the street parking :). There are several street spots right in front of the condo and directly across the street, and guests usually don’t have a hard time finding a spot very close. A town parking guide is on the desk inside for your reference, if needed. A randomly generated Keypad code is used for entry, and your code will be automatically sent to you in the app once your booking is confirmed. I will message you on the day of your check-in once the cleaning service is finished. Check in is 3pm. The condo is the ground floor unit on the right hand side. Although unlikely, please note that you may find clean dishes in the dishwasher if the previous group did not run it and the cleaning service didn’t have time to wait for the machine to finish. If you would like to enter the unit before 3pm to stow suitcases, grab beach chairs, or load groceries into the fridge, that’s fine with me and the cleaning service, just let me know!
