Thoughtfully updated 3 bedroom villa perched on Flagstaff Hill with stunning views of Man-O-War bay. We are located in the rain forest of Eastern Tobago. Perfect for nature lovers and divers. A few minutes drive down the hill leads right to the beach. Updates include new stainless steel appliances, new beds & linens, smart TV Wifi speakers, lighting fixtures, etc. The amenities you’d expect in the city, in the rain forest. However, you’ll find it hard to leave the veranda’s breathtaking view. We try to keep our villa as eco friendly as possible. We use a cistern system which collects rain water. Filtered water is also available from the refrigerator and is completely safe to drink. Our housekeeper uses green cleaning products to maintain the villa. (However, be advised if guests leave any non-green dish soap, for example, she will not throw away) The rental is for the entire house minus one locked storage room for our housekeeper when she comes to clean villa. We can always be reached by text or email. We are not on site but also have a property management company for emergencies. We are available any time to our guests. We also provide info on the area upon booking to help make the most of your stay! A few minutes drive down the hill to Charlotteville Beach (Man-O-War Bay which is what you’re looking at from our veranda), and the adventurous can hike right over to Pirate's Bay, which is my favorite! You can also buy fresh fish, fruit, & vegetables in our friendly little village. We also love to go down there for night swims. King's Bay Beach is maybe a 10/15 minute drive. Speyside is the next village over and Blue Waters Inn is great for a date night dinner. Suckhole Restaurant, one of the village's favorite food spot is also right at the bottom of the hill on Charlotteville beach. Both Jemma’s Kitchen and Birdwatchers Inn are a short ride, maybe 10/15 minute drive along the coast. ERIC Conservation group is located in the village and provides tours to the various dive sites surrounding Charlotteville. Argyle Waterfall is about a 30/40 minute drive from the Villa. Not to mention the great beach hopping all around the island! We recommend renting a car from Alamo/Enterprise right at the Tobago airport. When you walk out of the airport, they are directly to your left. Very friendly, convenient, and great prices! Our villa is located in the rain forest reserve of Eastern Tobago. To some sleeping in the rain forest is a dream. We sleep with just the veranda screens closed at night so we can hear all the sounds of the rain forest. However, you will see a whole world of nature around you. Many times crickets, beetles, hummingbirds, and lizards like to poke their heads in and say hello especially when you leave veranda doors open during the day, which we all love to do. So if you’re frightened easily, the rain forest might not be for you. But for eco lovers this villa is a dream! Each bedroom in the villa has A/C and ceiling fans. Many nights you'll feel the ocean breeze from being perched on our hill. For travelers with young children: Be advised that 2 lower level bedrooms are accessible by exterior stairway down to back veranda. This layout can be more challenging for young guests requiring assistance at night. Exterior lights are on a timer and switch on as soon as evening arrives, so property is well lit and comfortable to walk about in the evening.
