The Iron Horse Hyak Cabin is a home of relaxation and adventure in the woods near the city. The unobstructed cabin views out front are beautiful, with only a two-block walk to Summit East ski area and a few-minute drive to Summit Central & West, Alpental just a bit further. The house is 3 stories, sleeps 10 with 3 bathrooms. The Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail is directly across the street for cross-country skiing, skate skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding at the Hyak Sno-Park. The space The home is 2,200 sq feet, including a one-car garage & indoor storage. It is three stories with four bedrooms and three baths. The bottom floor is a living room with a queen Murphy bed, bunk bedroom, and full bathroom. The main floor is the large living room, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, and bathroom. Upstairs is a master bedroom, bathroom, and landing area bedroom with open air ceiling into rafters. Guest access There is a code to open the garage and front door key pad to enter. Other things to note We created a comprehensive guidebook of trails and activity suggestions to enjoy. Parking is easy out front in the driveway and in the garage. We are only an hour's drive from the city to have a mountain getaway from Seattle & Bellevue. Pack & Play stored under bunk bed room bed. Desk & chair set up on upstairs landing to work remotely. A dull freeway noise can be heard from the front patio - as is typical for all homes in Snoqualmie Pass. We have a single Ring-type camera monitoring the front driveway after parties at our property that we needed to capture.
