ALAQUA ON THE BEACH is a long standing rental in Tofino that has been newly updated. Located DIRECTLY on North Chesterman beach, watch the waves roll in next to the warmth of the fireplace or step onto the deck and into your private hot tub. You'll enjoy the sweeping views of the ocean and relax under midsummer's starry nights or drift off to sleep to the tranquil rumblings of the Pacific. The space Nestled within nearly 1 acre of lush foliage with 100 feet of ocean/beach frontage onto Chesterman Beach, Alaqua on the Beach offers private beach access and infinite views of the Pacific. The main living area has spectacular hand-crafted cedar ceilings which sets the scene for a perfect Tofino getaway! This is a great property to relax and unwind in or enjoy entertaining in the open concept kitchen and living room area. (6 guest max). The interior design has a sophisticated west coast style. The main level has 2 rooms with one that includes a bunk bed and a second room has a queen bed. Upstairs has the master bedroom with a king size bed and a full ensuite. The home has in-floor heating in the bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with recent upgrades and a cozy fireplace perfect for nestling up after a day surfing. A newly built exterior deck has seating perfectly situated for the ideal beach view. Out back also has an outdoor shower, propane firepit, and a private hot tub! Guest access For ease of use the home has self-check-in so you can arrive at your convenience. The code will be provided to the guest prior to check in. Other things to note Host Rules: Renters agreement must be signed to confirm the reservation Age min: must be 27 years or older to book Tofino Bylaw only allows 6 guest (max) to stay at the property During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 4-7 night minimum stay and must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you try to book and receive a "host unavailable" message but the calendar appears open, please send us a message as our software has a few booking rules and may require us to override it. 3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays. 2 dogs max, must be owner approved. Sorry no cats! Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals! Cancellation Policy: • We require 30 days' notice. • If you cancel outside of this period, you'll receive a full refund (minus any pesky Airbnb fees they may collect). • If you cancel within the 30 days, the reservation is non refundable Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay. Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.
