Chapel House of Palacio de Hualle near Comillas

The Chapel Garden House forms part of a 17th Century manor house estate, the Palacio de Hualle. Restored to conserve its antique beams and stonework while offering all the comfort and convenience of a modern home. On the edge of the tiny village of Hualle de Treceño, surrounded by green, wooded hills and pastures, it is a 12 minute drive to the charming villages Comillas and Santillana del Mar and to the spectacular Oyambre and Gerra beaches. The space On the ground floor is an impressive living room with a chimney and double height ceiling that opens on to a furnished terrace in a pretty garden bordered with hydrangeas, next to the manor's chapel. A spacious dining room and a modern well equipped kitchen are also on ground floor. Up one flight of stairs to two double bedrooms, a full bathroom, a study and a glassed-in sun room overlooking the façade of the palacio and beyond to the green fields. On the top floor is the large , balconied master bedroom and a full bathroom. Guest access The Chapel Garden House has a main entrance through the chapel garden as well as a door into the kitchen from the Palacio entrance patio. The house has its own garden for the use of the guests. There is also another outdoor seating and dining area which gives on to the Palacio entrance courtyard. Other things to note Horses graze in our fields. You can walk to local country restaurants and bar. Great surfing in Oyambre and Gerra beaches. Hike in ancient Roman road in nearby Escudo mountains. Kayac down the Sella or Deva rivers. Explore beautiful seaside villages. Treceño is an amazingly well stocked village, with all the main shopping needs practically met locally. There is a gas station, a farmacy, a bakery, a Coviran supermarket that has practically everything, a butcher, restaurants and more.
