Enjoy the beauty of Nittany Meadow Farm during your stay in Centre County. Located minutes from State College and Penn State, and close to Rothrock State Forest and outdoor activities, this 3-bedroom cottage was the original wagon shed at our historic farm. The cottage offers plenty of room to enjoy your time together in the living room and kitchen. There’s plenty of privacy too in the large bedrooms, with each having its own bath. Ask us about our goats during your stay—they’d love to meet you! Guests are welcome to use anything in the Wagon Shed. Make yourself at home! Guests are welcome to use the outdoor space, including the beautiful outdoor seating area in front of the barn. Guests are not permitted in the barn (without owners accompanying) or in the fenced pasture. Please don’t touch the pasture fence — it’s electrified to keep the animals contained. We live on the 26-acre property so we are around if needed. Guests can contact us by phone or text. Our property borders Mountain View Golf Course, so if you like to golf, you’re very close! We’re also only a half mile from Tussey Mountain resort, where you can ski or tube in the winter and enjoy batting cages, go karts and events like Wing Fest in the summertime. If you’re looking for wineries, the closest is 2 miles away, with plenty more within a ~10 mile radius. If nature is your thing, Bear Meadows natural area in Rothrock State Forest is just across the road, where you can hike or bike for miles. You’ll need a vehicle to get around. You can park in front of the Wagon Shed, or on the flat area behind the barn, near the barn bridge.
