We provide four designated parking spaces—please discuss with the host in advance if additional parking is needed. Alan is a builder and Jessica is a shoe designer. Together we labor over the details that define quality construction, safe, smart design, and gorgeous enduring comfort. Alan’s hosting journey began as a kid, helping his Mom make beds for their family-owned Bed and Breakfast. And Jessica's began when her Father's floral design business lured her into her passion for colors, textures, then later textiles and high functional 3D art. As a family, our love of travel and recent job opportunities have taken us away from our home and on to new adventures, bringing things full circle. Our appreciation for authentic connections has afforded us the chance to meet some incredible people by hosting guests in our home. Our humble experiences from traveling have taught us so much about service, attentiveness, patience, and gratitude. We truly enjoy sharing our home and tending to the needs of our guests, and look forward to hosting you soon. Here's the layout of our home: When you enter, we ask you to remove your shoes on that small landing area (if not outside before entering). Then, you can go up or down. Up to the main living level, it's wide open to the dining, kitchen, and two living areas. Or, you can go straight ahead down the hallway to one of three bedrooms (king, queen, two twins), and two full bathrooms. Off the sitting area by the kitchen is a lovely deck with a grill, patio umbrella, and seating for six, overlooking the pool and back patio areas. Oh, and also the canyon. If you enter the home and take the stairs down, you'll find three more bedrooms: one on the right, studio with a large TV (ideal for kids) one on the left, with one queen bed one straight ahead, with one queen bed and another very large full bathroom All the bathrooms have newly renovated showers and plush towels provided for each guest to use during your stay. There will be a $150/day charge to heat the pool for the first two days, then $80/day for each following day. We heat the pool to around 84 degrees, which is the recommended temperature according to the American Red Cross and the National Pool Institute. At booking, we send a form to understand if you'd like the pool heated, if you're bringing pets, kids, etc. Unfortunately, we cannot heat the pool and stock your favorite creamer without advanced notice. We keep one pack-n-play, a high chair, and two baby gates in the home, which guests are free to use during the stay. Any damages to these items, or failure to adequately replace them where they belong, will result in a $25 fee or replacement costs, if necessary. Our cleaning crew and other guests rely on these items being found in certain places and in certain conditions, and don't appreciate any surprise inconveniences at check-in or turnover times. Outside/Pool Area is Accessible**: -via the upstairs sliding doors off the kitchen/deck -via the downstairs sliding doors off the bedroom with the two queen beds -via the upstairs master bedroom with the king bed **{There is no pool access from the outside gates of the home.} Should it become too warm in the Summer, there are three window A/C units that, collectively, cool all of the upstairs and downstairs of the home. They are best used as blast coolers in the late afternoon, as it cools down in the evening and the outdoor breeze is quite nice. There are two TVs in the home, both are smart TVs/set up with Cable channels that include live news and sports: -one in the family room off the kitchen -one in the downstairs room with the two queen beds The whole house has great Wifi coverage, with a mesh network set up to cast a signal throughout all of the property. **We have been living in the home with our young child, and we've had a lot of things somewhat baby-proofed for her age. Guests with small children, please take note of pool access points. If you book the home during Halloween or the Holidays, we will be decorating. :) Guest access There are four parking spots; 1-2 in the garage, and 2 in the driveway. When you book, we will be asking on our check-in form how many cars to expect. Other things to note This is a luxury multi-family rental. We cater to out-of-market guests who have a prior 5-star rental history. We are in a residential neighborhood, and this is our family home. We really like our neighbors, and we want you to get along with them, too. We appreciate your respecting our home and our belongings when you're our guests, and we will bend over backward to give you the 5-star experience you expect when you select our listing. Each pet guest must be pre-approved and is welcome to stay for a per pet per stay fee of $100. There is a max of two pets per booking, and each pet requires a separate pet waiver. We also require that any pet guest be on current flea and tick treatment and request the last treatment date, so please treat your pet at the time of booking. Thanks very much for the consideration!
