The space This 5-bedroom home blends elements of local architecture with those found in modern, luxury beach cottages around the world. The entire house is furnished with gorgeous, hand-crafted furniture made with certified hardwood sourced in Nicaragua and every room features top-of-the-line beds so you can rest easy knowing you'll sleep well while on vacation. Basically, you will never want to leave once you're here! The downstairs features 3 bedrooms - a master suite with 1 king and 2 guest rooms, one with 1 queen and the other with 2 fulls. Here you will also find the main kitchen, living room, dining area, outdoor bar & lounge area and, of course, the pool. There is more outdoor living area then you will know what to do with, whether you want to take a nap on the wrap-around couch, read a book in the hammock, enjoy a cocktail at the bar in the pool or lay out in the wet deck to soak up some sun and watch the surf. The upstairs has its own access via an outdoor staircase, which also offers access to the 2nd floor balcony and 3rd floor loft. The upstairs features 2 bedrooms - a master suite with 1 king and a guest suite with 1 king - as well as a kitchenette fully equiped with everything you need.  Playa Guasacate is a beautiful stretch of beach located in the heart of Popoyo. It is centrally located to all of the local restaurants, bars, stores and other activities in the Popoyo area. After spending a short time in the area, you will realize that both the local and foreign residents are all very friendly and laid-back. Guest access You will have access to the whole house whether you rent just the first floor or the whole house. If you are a group of 2-6 guests, you can rent the downstairs unit for a discounted rate. Ask us about it and we can make it happen. Other things to note We provide a starter supply of essentials, including six (6) 5-gallon water jugs, basic cleaning and household supplies. For longer stays or heavier use, guests may need to replenish supplies locally. Monthly rates DO NOT include utilities. We would need to collect a refundable security deposit of $800 before checking in. We would take a meter reading upon check in and check out and calculate the electric bill accordingly.
