Enjoy a secluded mountain getaway in the comfort of this beautiful new home with an amazing panoramic view! The three bedroom getaway is located on a two acre expanse of pristine mountain wilderness, approx. 15 minutes from the town of Golden. The space Each bedroom has a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, and spacious closet. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with a deep soaker tub as well as a shower and a walk-in closet. The Spacious kitchen includes granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, wine rack, and ample space to prepare large meals while visiting with your guests. Take in the impressive mountain views through the floor to ceiling windows in the large, open concept living room and relax on the comfortable leather couches in front of the wood burning fireplace. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain views on the wrap around deck which includes a Propane BBQ. Relax, sheltered in the six-person hot tub located outside on the lower level with the same gorgeous mountain view as the upper deck. Guest access Guests will have access to all of the amenities this house has to offer, including the washer and dryer. It is recommended that time isn't spent in the unfinished basement unless accessing the hot tub or storing wet ski/snowboard gear. Other things to note ** NOT SUITABLE FOR TRAILERS OR SNOWMOBILES** Roads/Access: * Please provide the license plates upon booking. This is to ensure the speed limit is followed. This protects you and your guests from being falsely accused of speeding while enjoying the property as the listed speed limit is 20km on the road. This beautiful mountain escape is located on the side of a mountain and as such requires winter tires or 4x4 vehicles during the winter months. Road access to the property requires travel from the main highway up a steep curvy but well maintained gravel road. The champagne powder that Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is known for also falls on this side of mountain range, if you are renting a vehicle please take this into consideration. We do not refund due to road conditions. Please respect all road signs, the speed limit in this neighborhood is 20kph. There are families with children and dogs enjoying the wilderness as well. Speed on the road is strictly enforced and we cannot provide a towing service in the winter months. Internet: The internet is provided through the cellular network hit spot and can be spotty at times. If the weather is bad or it’s over cast you may experience slower than normal buffering times. If you experience this, try moving the box to different areas of the house. The laundry room and the office upstairs seem to get the best reception. Exterior: Winter arrived before completing the landscaping and stonework. Please excuse the remaining building materials along the back and side of the house. GST&PST Payments: AirBnB does not account for GST or PST/MRDT upon arrival in case of cancellation. Upon arrival guests receive another payment request pertaining to the GST & PST/MDRT payment. GST & PST/MRDT is only applied to the nightly rate and cleaning fee. This rate is 16% and applied only to nights stayed. (GST = Goods and Service Tax 5%, PST = Provincial Sales Tax 8%, MRDT = 3%). Water: The home is provided by a well. And while it’s treated, depending on the time of year the water could give off an egg like smell. Rest assured the water has been treated but can be off putting. There is an R.O system next to the kitchen sink that is great for drinking water but the rest of the water is safe for personal use. I.e showering, cooking, cleaning. Security Cameras: There are exterior security cameras on the property for the sole purpose of property protection. Guests can be assured that recordings are only reviewed if needed by the owner and not by a third party company.
