This beautifully renovated industrial style bungalow is perfect for your stay in Salt Lake City! It's conveniently located 2 miles from the heart of the city and super close to freeway access if you're coming from the airport or headed out to the ski resorts in the Canyons or Park City. You're close to public transportation if you need to go downtown for sightseeing or business! Unwind in my cozy space after a long day of skiing, visiting tourist attractions, or work meetings. Welcome home! The space There are two bedrooms on the main level with queen beds and a large attic converted into a bedroom upstairs with a queen and twin bed. There is plenty of space upstairs for an air mattress if you have extra guests! The living room, kitchen, and dining area are open with plenty of seating so your group can hang out together while making your coffee in the morning or if you choose to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. The large smart tv has Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and Disney+, and connected to chromecast if you want to cast your shows directly to the tv. The built in bench in the living room has storage underneath if you need extra space to put your things. My house is perfect for a family or large group that want a place to relax and feel like they're home away from home! *A single college student lives in the home's basement apartment (don't worry, it has its own entrance so you don't have to see them). They are quiet and keep to themselves but because it's an old house there is a chance you might hear them from time to time! Please read the "Other Things to Note" section for more details. Guest access You will have full access to the main level, upstairs, and backyard. There is plenty of free street parking available directly in front of the house. Driveway is shared with my neighbor and there have been too many incidents of guests not following the parking rules and me neighbor not being able to get his car in and out so I am no longer able to offer parking in the driveway. A tenant lives in the home's basement and they have their own entrance on the side of the house. However the stairs that lead to the laundry room and basement apartment are shared so there is a small possibility you will cross paths if you're doing laundry but the laundry room is separate from the basement apartment. Other things to note Keep in mind, this house was built in the 1940s so it does have its quirks. You have to open the front door with a little force and the bedroom doors and some spots on the hardwoor floor are a little creaky. You must climb 5 steps to get to the front door. The third bedroom is in the attic so you must climb a flight of stairs to get it. Also, there is no railing on those stairs so it might not be ideal for everyone. There is potential for noise! Because the house is old there isn't great soundproofing between the main level and basement and I have a tenant that lives in the basement apartment. They are a single student and are aware that I Airbnb the main level. They are quiet hand respectful and I have had no noise complaints from guests but you might hear them every now and then. The washer/dryer are located in the basement as well but the laundry room has its own entrance so if you need to do laundry you can access it from the backdoor in the kitchen. Extra Fees: -$500 if there is any smoking of any kind (weed, hookah, cigarettes, vaping etc.) in the house or anywhere on the property. No exceptions. -$50 for late checkout that has not been pre approved. -$50 if any excessive cleaning needs to be done -$10 for each missing towel -$10 for each stained towel
