You walk into a stunning Cabin with tastefully decorated 3 bedrooms, 2 kayaks, A/C, comfort drive up access and just minutes outside of Kenora, Ontario. This is a family oriented place with weekly trips. This is a perfect spring/summer/fall retreat to spend some quality time in paradise call it Lake Life! We have severe allergies and not able to host families with any pets including service dogs! The space This is a family oriented area with weekly bookings Sunday-Sunday, no exceptions. Thank you for attending to this . This is a cottage life ( not an urban area) setting. If you’re up for it, then this place is for you! Tastefully decorated lakeview summer cabin includes: - 3 spacious bedrooms and vaulted ceiling in living area - fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, blender for smoothies, pots and pans, plates, glass ware and cutlery, dining table & chairs. - BBQ provided and is located on the deck; propane included. - Featuring charcoal pizza oven with a glass door to gather around and watch your fav pizza cooked to perfection inspired by chefs; charcoal provided. -parking for no more than 3 vehicles - fans are in each room, heaters in each room -AC is located in the living room; when hot, window coverings must be pooled down to help keep it cooler; it is NOT a central AC; this is a summer seasonal house; pls do not confuse this with the expectation of the regular house in the urban location - 55" TV, Blu-Ray; satellite TV channels are on - boat launch is available if you have your boat; pls let us know ahead of time - 2 kayaks included - can accommodate 6, up to 8 people comfortably; pls note, this property is per person per night booking; there are three Queen beds in bedrooms and two sofa beds in the living room. Many ppl bring their own if they prefer; there is enough space in the living area for that - We provide bedding and blankets, you provide your own towels ( including kitchen/bath/beach) ; additional blankets and throws are also available for your comfort -we provide stainless steel water dispenser with hot/cold options available; you provide your own drinkable water - Huge wrap around deck for your yoga retreat and sunbathing morning coffee -gazebo with seating area for outdoor gathering - fire pit for an evening ambiance (wood is not included; we can provide wood for additional cost) If you like fishing, this lake offers walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout, splake (cross between a speckle trout and lake trout), crappie, perch and whitefish. The shared beach is just a walk down the hill from the cottage. It takes 2 minute walk down for us, some people say, it takes them 3-5 minutes and some say 1 minute(personal preference). There is a shared water slide and jumping platform, swim dock and floating dock with diving board. There is a basketball half court for one-on-one challenges. If you like a community feel, meet and mingle with others, the above dock/board amenities are shared among the cottages. If you like to be on your own, this place is NOT for you. The city of Kenora is only 20 Kms away where there are a good variety of souvenir shops, restaurants and two 18 hole golf courses; Kenora Golf 7 Country and Beauty Bay. We are right next door to Rushing River Provincial Park which has spectacular rapids, sand beaches, playground and hiking trails. It’s well worth taking some time and spending it at Rushing River, accessible either by boat, car or walk and take pictures to create beautiful memories with family and friends. There is no discount for an early departure. ***Pets are not accepted to stay, we have severe allergies...sorry...*** There is NO smoking of any kind inside the cottage. Guest access all parts of the house but the storage room located on the back of the house Other things to note pls note there is no WIFI Personal Cellphones work just fine, if you want to tether Due to being in a litle mountains, the previous connection to WIFI just wasn't working adequately Currently waiting on the expenditure for getting a good wifi
