This space is priced for up to two people. We will accommodate a third person upon request. There is a $30 ($34.20 including tax) nightly charge for each additional animal and each person beyond two. The additional fee doesn't automatically calculate when booking, so we will charge the additional amount separately after confirmation. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with reading lights, a dresser, a nightstand, a TV, and a walk-in closet. The main living area with the kitchen and dining room includes a sofa/daybed, dining table, and closet. You'll have a designated parking spot just in front of your private entrance and porch. Grandma’s Suite is just 6 miles from the Juneau Ferry Terminal, 2.5 miles from the airport (25 min bus ride), 2 miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier, 4.5 miles from the University of Alaska, and 10.5 miles from Downtown Juneau. It's self check-in so late arrival is not a problem. You'll be given the lock box code a few days prior to your arrival. Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. We will offer you early check-in and late check-out options if it's available, a couple of days prior to your arrival/departure for a fee of $50. Enjoy the community environment in the house. You can use the common areas of the house, but no sleeping is allowed in the house, nor are your animals/pets allowed in the house. Great Mendenhall Valley Location – It's steps from the city bus stop and two miles from the famous Mendenhall Glacier which you can get to by car, or walking on a paved bike path or gravel trail. You can take the bus for one mile and walk the second mile. This is not a downtown Juneau property. Downtown Juneau is substantially more expensive than the Mendenhall Valley, so this location for the price should not be compared to that of downtown. If you want to be downtown and don't want to take a 45-minute bus ride to go 16 miles, then this space is not for you. Great Value – Juneau is expensive, especially during peak season, and while this is a more affordable option, we understand that it can seem expensive. Part of the value is the ability to rent for only one night and have an additional person. The price fluctuates depending on the season. We have to charge more when the business is there so that we can afford to have it vacant for long, slow periods.
