Guest access Washer and dryer avail for use during your extended stay for towels and linens as needed. We ask that you do not launder anything that has excessive grease/tar/mud/animal or fish scales or that is excessively dirty. It has the potential to ruin the linens for the units. There is a laundry mat called the "Highliner" for excessively dirty adventure gear. Please set a timer for your laundry as this is shared between 1 other rental and our amazing house cleaning team. Other things to note We ARE in Alaska and have occasional bears and critters that pass through the area. (Exciting to see from the deck) We ask that you follow the house rules for taking the garbage out and being aware of your surroundings after dark and use common sense. In 6 years we have given out all but 2 -5 STAR reviews (1- "better suited for a hotel" review/1-would not recommend) By giving such detailed descriptions of what we offer we always attract people who Absolutely LOVE our space/view/decor/location. It's like a love connection! We will only accept guests with a complete profile (including verified government ID, full first and last name, and a profile photo of their FACE), who provide names of all guests and the general nature of their stay. (Any illegal activity gets a direct call to my best friends at the police department. We are on a first name bases, not because I have had to call them, but because I grew up here, everyone knows everyone) Please be sure to specify your guest names, and accurate number of guests (Our home is not suited for children) when you make your reservation with us. It helps us to prepare for your stay and in case of emergencies. These are strictly NON-SMOKING rooms. And as a courtesy to the people below and our wood floors we ask everyone to remove their shoes and respect quiet hrs early and late. Yelling, singing or loud crying late into the night attracts BEARS... "Mama bear" AKA me...you do not want me visiting at 3 AM to respond to noise complaints...
