Hippie Chalet Piñones is a cozy, comfortable, rustic, and unique Chalet 3-minute drive away from the beach. You will experience island living and all its local culture. Located in the middle of one of Puerto Rico's best tourist and beach areas, Piñones, there is plenty to do within minutes of the chalet, whether you walk, bike, drive, or get adventurous and ride a horse. The space The house is chalet style, two-story with a wooden balcony to one side. It's an open concept with a fully equipped kitchen, 3 comfortable bedrooms with A/C, and 2 full bathrooms. Other things to note Our home is located in a neighborhood where there are animals such as chickens, roosters, and horses walking freely around the streets. If you are a light sleeper please keep in mind you will hear the neighbor's chickens and roosters they can get very loud in the morning, this is part of our culture and makes for an authentic Puerto Rico experience. Car rental is highly recommended, uber's are expensive and hard to get to come to our area. Though there are things that are relatively close if you want to do anything outside of the Piñones area or specifically at night you will be better off with a car. We are a beach community so besides seeing the typical Island mosquitoes you will also a encounter No-See-Ums (sand fleas) they are most active at dawn and dusk, which are peak biting times, and usually gather poolside or near any other standing pools of water.
