The space Hippie Chalet PR is a charming two-story chalet-style home designed for families and groups looking to relax and enjoy everything Puerto Rico has to offer. The home features an open-concept layout with a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with air conditioning, three comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms, and two full bathrooms, providing plenty of space for everyone to unwind. A beautiful wooden balcony extends from the side of the chalet, adding to its unique character and charm. One of the highlights of the property is the spacious backyard, designed for both relaxation and entertainment. Guests can enjoy the screened front and back terraces, take a refreshing dip in the private pool, gather around the fire pit in the evening, relax in the swing chair, or spend time in the fully equipped game room. Whether you're looking to explore the island or simply enjoy a day at the property, there's something for everyone without ever leaving home. For your peace of mind, the property is equipped with a solar panel system with battery backup, providing power during many island-wide electrical outages and helping to minimize interruptions to your stay. It also features a dedicated water reserve system, ensuring a continuous water supply in the event of community water service interruptions. These systems are in place to provide our guests with a comfortable and reliable stay, even during unexpected utility outages. Other things to note Light Sleepers: Please keep in mind that you may hear the neighbors’ chickens and roosters, which can be quite loud in the early morning. This is part of our local culture and adds to the authentic Puerto Rico experience. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, Hippie Chalet may not be the best fit for you. Transportation: We highly recommend renting a car. Ubers can be expensive and sometimes hard to get in our area. While there are a few things within walking distance, if you plan to explore outside of Piñones or go out at night, having a car will make things much easier. Nature & Insects: Being in a beach community, you’ll see the usual island mosquitoes, and you may also encounter no-see-ums (sand fleas). They’re most active at dawn and dusk and tend to hang around the pool or any standing water. Washer & Dryer: Washer and dryer are available at no cost for guests staying 4 or more days. For reservations of 2–3 days, there is a $5 per day fee.
