You will hear highway noises during your stay as this cabin is located adjacent to the highway. In winter, this proximity is appreciated by guests because of the snow. Like most mountain homes in this area, there is also proximity to neighbors. Guest access The cabin has a key-less entry lock. A code will be provided upon booking. Other things to note **There are two main routes into Grand Lake if you are coming from the East. The quickest way is to take I-70 to Berthoud Pass. Denver to Grand Lake is a 2 hour drive. The second route, over Trail Ridge Road through RMNP is more scenic and costs roughly $25/car. In the summer, f you drive from Denver, over Trail Ridge Road and into Grand Lake it is about a 3 hour drive. **Please note that Trail Ridge Road is closed throughout the winter (October to May) as most of the road is above tree line. Please call the RMNP hotline before departing to check for daily closures as it is all weather dependent as to when it will open/close. If you are looking for other cabins on the same property, we also have a studio cabin, a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom. Click on our profile to find links and availability.
