Welcome to Silver Mountain Resort and Cabins. Silver Mountain #1 is one of seven cabins on our country property and is the first of our Black Hills Cabins. It was originally built in the 1930's as a place for Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) crew members to call home after long days spend in the area constructing bridges, building parks, thinning trees, and mining rocks. This cabin was later renovated into a gas station in the 1960's for travelers heading to Mt. Rushmore. Silver Mountain #1 i The space The Silver Mountain #1 Cabin is a comfortable getaway in the middle of the Black Hills. It is close to all of the popular tourist destinations but sits on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist towns. Relax in the heated pool, grill up dinner on your unit's grill, enjoy your private fire pit, or cozy up on the front porch of the cabin in the middle of the trees and peacefulness that make the Black Hills so special.
