Located an easy four block walk from the Encinal Beach and the Ballena Bay Marina, with paddleboards, kayaks, sailboats, for rent. Take a walk along the Alameda Point Shoreline path to the USS Hornet Museum. Nearby Alameda Beach offers a long open beach area with windsurfing and kiteboarding. The space We are pleased to share the self-contained guest apartment attached to our single-family home. The apartment has a separate direct ground level entry from the driveway. It is quaintly furnished with a mid-century coastal vibe, wood floors, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a laundry center, well equipped kitchen, and a cozy den with 55” TV. It is very family friendly, including a high chair for the young ones. With the backyard and pool (shared with Host), and close proximity to the nearby beaches and marina, it makes it a unique experience, like a semi-private mini-resort. Pool Season is May 1 - September 30, weather depending. Guest access The pool and backyard are shared spaces with the Host. Pool/Backyard Hours: Guest: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Host: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM Pool Season is May 1 - September 30, weather depending. We live in adjoining home, and to maintain peaceful surroundings QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 10:00 PM TO 6:00 AM. If that is not observed, noise can transmit between the homes.
