Welcome to Present Street Place, a charming early 1900s home thoughtfully renovated with your comfort in mind. While we prioritize guests visiting Houston for medical care, we also welcome other travelers when the house is available, allowing us to offer discounted rates to cancer patients and their families. Enjoy a cozy stay in a vibrant, multicultural neighborhood, complete with a fruit orchard next door. No parties/gatherings, no smoking, no pets. Pack N' Play and/or cot available upon request. + Comfort: Room darkening curtains in all bedrooms. Smart adjustable thermostat (68°F minimum in summer, 75°F maximum in winter). Cozy electric fireplace in the living room. + Entertainment: Flat-screen TV in living room and King bedroom with local channels and ROKU streaming capabilities (guests must use their own streaming accounts). + Kitchen: Fully equipped chef's kitchen with ample counter space, gas range, refrigerator, microwave, small appliances, cookware, and dishes. Bosch dishwasher. Coffee bar with Keurig (starter coffee/tea provided) and drip coffee maker (bring your own coffee). + Laundry: Washer and dryer for your convenience. + Connectivity: High-speed Wi-Fi. + Parking: Attached covered parking for 2 vehicles. Driveway parking may be available upon request. No street parking. + Other Amenities: Luxurious towels (1 set per guest for stays under 2 weeks), makeup cloths, iron and ironing board, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hair dryer, first aid items, games, and books. + Important Note: As a home in Texas, occasional pests like small spiders and tree roaches may find their way inside. Keep doors and windows closed to avoid them. Guest access The whole house is ready for your visit! There is plenty of room for parking, including covered driveway parking for 2 vehicles. The shed is not available at this time. If you want to host a party, please do so elsewhere. Otherwise, guests of all backgrounds are welcome. Maximum occupancy is 7 guests; please contact us if you have additional day use visitors. We do have video monitoring outside, so we can make sure only approved guests are on-site. You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Guest Occupancy Agreement signature is required. No smoking, vaping, or pets are allowed on the property. We require a security deposit via our secure main booking system; if you are not comfortable providing your credit card to Sweet Retreat Properties, this is not the property for you.
