Cozy Cascade Cabin, Short Walk to the Lake!

This modern single level cabin will ensure your comfort during a relaxing vacation in the Idaho woods. A cozy wood stove and electric heat in each room keep the cabin toasty and warm during winter nights as you cook in the open kitchen or watch a show on the smart TV. When it's warm out, you can sit out on the deck and take in the forest and views of Lake Cascade. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Ample parking for up to 6 vehicles in the driveway. The space 4 people maximum, including day guests. *Outside firepit only seasonal. Firewood is not provided.* Master Bedroom: Queen Bed 2nd Bedroom: Queen Bed w/ a very small toddler bed There is a bathroom with a shower/tub combo Filtered views of the lake right from the deck. There is a walking path that leads to a quiet sandy beach. It's about a 10 minute walk out the front door. There is one locked owner's closet in a bedroom, and some locked out buildings, but the rest of the place is available for you to use. I'm available to assist whenever needed, but give you privacy. Close to Cascade and closer to the lake. There are lots of places to fish, ride, walk and enjoy, and this cabin is easy to get to year-round. The cabin is accessible year-round and the roads and parking area are cleared in the winter. The neighborhood road leading to the cabin may become icy in winters, and while the road is maintained, you should be prepared for the conditions. During Winter conditions, snow tires, chains and/or a 4WD vehicle are required. If you become stuck, we recommend Brown’s Towing, in Donnelly. Please come prepared for the forecasted weather conditions during your stay. There is no public transportation so a vehicle is recommended. There are great places to take a pleasant stroll on quiet roads and paths, right from the front door. If staying from January-March, it is strongly suggested you bring tire chains. The entire home is accessible to renters, except for a locked owner's closet in the master bedroom. Cute cabin on 1/2 an acre. Large deck, covered parking spot and space for your toys. During winter months, a 4x4 or vehicle with chains or winter tires is necessary. **This home is pet friendly, but pre-approval is required in all instances. Prior to booking, please submit the pet breed, weight and age. For an approved pet, there is a fee. MAX 1 PET at this property** We allow no more than the maximum number onsite than are advertised as allowed for the property (4 people max; This includes day guests). Please take a moment to review our policies: Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved. Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee. Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed. Pets: If you would like to bring a pet, please send us a message before booking. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES). All pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized. Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property. Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately. Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking. Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture. Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities. BBQ's & Fire pits: Please note that where applicable, outdoor fire pits and BBQs are considered seasonal amenities and may not be available during the winter months due to weather conditions. Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage. Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads. Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee. Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for "drain and fill." Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues. Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers. Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. Thank you!
