The space **PLEASE READ** THE AREA: The Cabin is on a paved road :-) La Pine State Park, Shopping/Dining/Pickle Ball Courts~12-15 min. away. Wikiup, Twin Lakes, Cascade Lakes Hwy~20 min. Sunriver, Lava Lands, High Desert Museum, Newberry Volcanic Monument~30 min. Paulina/Lava Cast Forest/Fort Rock~45 min. Crater Lake National Park~75 min. THE CABIN: This rustic cabin is beautifully decorated to reflect the surrounding natural beauty of Central Oregon. Main Level -Open concept living area is small, but cozy. -Modern Kitchen is well stocked (dishes, cookware, small appliances, etc.). -Dining seats 4 at table, and 3 more at the bar. (Two more chairs from card table can be added to seat 6 at the table for meals or game nights). -Living room features a Woodstove, Smart TV, Sleeper Sofa with Air Comfort Mattress, & three recliners. -Complimentary Firewood is provided. Guest is responsible for refilling the woodbox and kindling from the garage. There are also electric heat sources including a Mini-Split (Heater/AC unit). -There is one Bedroom (Queen bed) on Main Level, a Laundry area, and small Full Bathroom. UPSTAIRS -Master bedroom has a Queen bed, small balcony, and a card table & puzzles. -Second Bedroom has a Firm Queen bed, and a Dedicated work space. There are a few children's books and toys. -There is one 3/4 bathroom to share between both upstairs bedrooms. It has a custom tile shower. -The upstairs is an A-Frame with large, open beams sloping down to the floor. -Weather permitting, Guests may enjoy outdoor meals on the Sundeck, and cooking on the Treager BBQ, surrounded by the serene Ponderosas (pellets are complimentary). There is a Propane Firepit with adirondack chairs stored in the garage. Guest is responsible for purchasing propane, but tanks are provided. The wooded lot is 1.3 acres and not fenced in. Brush has been cleared but it has minimal landscaping and feels somewhat like you are camping :-) *** Local Fire Bans may make using the firepit illegal. This is most likely to occur later in July, August, and possibly September.*** OHV trails in the Deschutes Foreset start about 1/2 mile away, at the end of our road. Guests will have access to the Garage. There is space for one vehicle, with more parking in the driveway. **PLEASE purchase Traveler's Insurance for your trip especially during winter months when inclement weather/illness/etc. could affect your plans. (We are unable to insure cancelations.)** Guest access Host will send the Code for the Front Door. Guest will receive an Information Guide via email. Parking-You may park one vehicle in the Garage, and there is plenty of parking in the driveway. If you need to bring more than 3 vehicles, please discuss it with us. RVs-There is enough parking for an RV, however, RVs may not be used to house extra Guests beyond the number declared in the booking. Other things to note Please read the House Rules.
