Handcrafted wood & stone A-frame with woodstove (free firewood), Traeger BBQ & propane firepit. Comfortably sleeps 6 (max 8). Rent rates are based on number of Guests--Please book for correct number. Up to 2 dogs welcome with $75 per-stay pet fee (automatically added when included on reservation). Ride straight into the forest. Come home to firelight, quiet trees, starry skies and a place to unwind. 🐾 Traveling With a Dog? We welcome up to 2 well-trained dogs. There is an $75 per-stay pet fee, which helps cover additional cleaning, pet hair removal, and extra preparation so the cabin stays fresh and comfortable for all guests. • Dogs must remain downstairs (gate provided) • Dogs may not be left unattended inside unless kenneled (a small kennel is provided) • Please pick up after your pet outside and wipe muddy paws before coming indoors • Please include your dog(s) on your reservation so the pet fee is applied properly We love hosting responsible pet owners and appreciate your help caring for the cabin’s wood finishes and natural setting. 🌲 Forest Setting & Location Tucked into a peaceful forest neighborhood, our cabin offers quiet nights, star-filled skies, and a true Central Oregon escape. We’re about 10–12 minutes from La Pine for groceries and casual dining, 28 minutes from Sunriver and 35 minutes from Bend for expanded restaurants, shopping, and recreation. Ideal for guests seeking quiet over crowds and forest over city lights. 🏍 OHV Basecamp Setup Ride directly into the forest from the end of our paved road. • ½ mile to trail access • Long loop driveway – trailer friendly (no backing required) • Garage access for gear or vehicle storage • Air compressor for airing up tires • Wash hose for trail cleanup (stored in garage during winter) Please rinse off excessive mud before parking inside the garage. No riding or mechanical repairs on property. 🪵 The Cabin Main Level • Cozy open living area with woodstove (complimentary firewood provided) • Smart TV, sleeper sofa with air comfort mattress & La-Z-Boy recliners • Fully stocked modern kitchen (cookware, dishes, small appliances) • Dining table and chairs, 3 bar stools. • Queen bedroom • Small full bathroom • Laundry area • Mini-split heat/AC plus additional electric heat Note: The mini-split can occasionally cause minor wall vibration. We are working on a solution. Upstairs A-Frame • Primary bedroom with Queen bed, puzzle table & small balcony • Second bedroom with Queen bed & dedicated workspace • Children’s books & toys • Shared ¾ bathroom with custom tile shower • Open-beam A-frame architecture with warm lodge character 🌲 Outdoor Living Set on 1.3 wooded acres of natural Ponderosa forest. • Sundeck dining • Treager BBQ (pellets provided) • Propane firepit (tanks provided; guests refill propane as needed) • Adirondack seating • Natural, unfenced lot with minimal landscaping — peaceful and private Local fire bans (typically July–September) may restrict propane firepit use. 📍 Explore Central Oregon • La Pine State Park – 12–15 minutes • Wikiup & Twin Lakes – ~20 minutes • Cascade Lakes Highway – ~20 minutes • Sunriver, Lava Lands & High Desert Museum – ~30 minutes • Paulina Lake, Lava Cast Forest & Fort Rock – ~45 minutes • Crater Lake National Park --~75 minutes ❄ Winter Travel We strongly recommend travel insurance during winter months in case weather or illness affects your plans. Guest access Host will send the Code for the Front Door. Guest will receive an Information Guide via email. Parking-You may park one vehicle in the Garage, and there is plenty of parking in the driveway. If you need to bring more than 3 vehicles, please discuss it with us. RVs-There is enough parking for an RV, however, RVs may not be used to house extra Guests beyond the number declared in the booking. Other things to note Please read the House Rules.
