Brand new build with old island charm, steps from pink sands beach and views out over the blue Bahamian waters. *Update April 23,2025 we have installed a battery backup system which can power the unit for up to 36 hours in the case of power outages. It is a seamless transition when the power goes out, it doesn't even reset the Internet modem so you'll never even know the power is out. The space Professionally designed and styled this home maximises its small foot print. FAQ: 1. Looks like you are near Sip Sip. What are the other rentals around it like? Is it safe, well lit at night, other people around? A - it's right next to ocean view hotel. There are other homes in the general vicinity. Check my (Hidden by Airbnb) page @silkroadbriland for extra exterior photos 2. What is the access to the beach? Is there a direct pathway and how long? A - Yes there is a path right out the front door, it's about 150ft to the beach 3 Are there beach chairs there or do we need to bring our own? What about beach towels? A- Yes I have two folding beach chairs and an umbrella you can carry to the beach with you. If you'd like something a little nicer there is a chair rental place at the beach entrance on the other side of ocean view hotel. They offer full lounge chairs, larger more permanent umbrellas, cold drinks/light nibbles, and there can be a bit of a scene there during the day. I supply all the towels and linens you would need for your trip. We supply both beach and shower towels. 4 Is there WiFi, that works consistently? A - Yes, we have our own dedicated internet. It's generally quite fast and reliable. I had a couple living here for 5 months last fall and they worked full time remotely quite happily. 5 What time is check in/check out? Our flight would get into Eluthera around 11:30 am. A - Check in is 3, check out is 11.. the 4 hours in between is for the housekeeper. If you arrive early and the property isn't quite ready you're welcome to drop your bags and go grab lunch/a drink. Same if your flight doesn't leave until later in the afternoon, we'd ask that you have your bags packed and put aside by 11 on the morning of your checkout. 6 Does the kitchen have the following: stove top (didn’t see in picture), ice machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, other appliances? A- We have two induction top hot plates (hanging on the walls in the photo), and a convection toaster over. We have a kettle, french press, and pour over drip for coffee. We have oversized ice cube trays in the freezer for cocktails. You'd need to buy cooler ice if needed. 7 What is cancellation policy? A - All bookings are non refundable.
