Front row seat to spectator desert sunsets. This is our only safari tent that can accommodate up to 4 people with a king bed and a queen bed. We are a sustainable off grid property. We proudly run our business off solar power. We have a recycling and compost program along with happy pasture raised chickens. We built this place to be an escape or a place to unwind from our busy and loud daily lives. Embrace the break from the daily grind and find space here on the open desert. The space **Rate is for 2 guests. Extra fees for 2 more** INDOOR DETAILS: 12" luxurious king and queen bed with cotton linens and warm duvets. Cozy indoor wood burning stove. Large dining table made from an old door. Extra blanket, outdoor Mexican blankets, string lights, lounge seating. Get inspired by the peaceful landscape and create with the provided art supplies and coloring books (children and adults!) No electricity but we provide battery packs to charge phones. If you need more power, we rent portable power units. ***STANDARD RATE INCLUDES 1 KING BED, 2 PEOPLE. WE DO NOT CHARGE BY THE PERSON BUT BY THE BED. IF YOU NEED TO USE THE 2ND BED AS THE PICTURE SHOWS, PLEASE CHOOSE THE CORRECT OPTION. USE THE ADDITIONAL FEES DROP DOWN AND $25 PER NIGHT WILL AUTOMATICALLY be APPLIED. OUTDOOR DETAILS: A private wood viewing deck with Adirondack chairs, custom made swings and a nest saucer swing. Hammocks, swings, picnic table and firepit are key outdoor features this tent offers. We believe in our guest's comfort over adding too many units. For this reason, most of our accommodation is at least 50 yards away from each other to provide maximum privacy. SUSTAINABILITY: We are a husband-and-wife team that purchased this land in 2020. We privately own and operate a sustainable off grid property. We are a sustainable off grid property. We work to reduce waste by supporting businesses that focus on the environment, health and using non-plastic products where we can. We use simple, clean, natural cleaning products. We do not use single use plastic and provide washable cotton paper towels and hand towels. We work with locals to bring you tours, pastries, breads and hand crafted souvenirs for you to remember your trip. COMMUNAL BATHROOMS: We do not have your average communal camping bathrooms. 4 modern private bathrooms are kept spotless for our guests. A one of a kind skygazing domed bathroom offers an outdoor showering experience without the bugs and dirt. 2 full bathrooms, 1 toilet room and 1 shower room provide plenty options for everyone. COMMUNAL KITCHEN AND GRILLING DECK: Fully equipped with stove (no oven) pots, pans, seasoning, plates, cutlery, mixing bowls, washing up supplies, etc. Refrigerator available to all guests. Coolers also available to borrow during your stay and to take on your adventures (no ice). Power is only to run the refrigerator. No outlets or microwave is available. French Press, pour over maker, coffee and tea supplies are free for you to use. Solar powered string lights light the kitchen at night. 1 propane flattop grill, BBQ box and pizza oven. Covered Adirondack Chairs and picnic tables with solar string lights. Trail information booklet available. Open to all guests 24 hours. KEY FEATURES: Locally roasted coffee/tea delivery service and breakfast is available. French Press, pour over maker, coffee and tea supplies are free for you to use. A vintage fridge has been converted into a free library. Read here or take a book home with you. A ton of free board games, card games, Jenga, and cornhole are available. No pets are allowed. We do have 1 dog, free range kittens, and many friendly free range chickens. We sell their organic eggs! Sauna is available by appointment. Strong Starlink Wifi available. Monthly Astronomy Tours. Firewood, fire starter, propane tanks (for heaters) and smores are available to purchase. Walking path for evening or morning strolls and runs. LOCATION: Located on private and rural land 40 mins South of Moab and 40 mins from the entrance of The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park (the hikers paradise park!) Our land borders Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands and State Trust Lands which means you have a panoramic view of the desert landscape and dark skies. We are surrounded by Dark Sky National Parks, State Park, Monuments and communities. Because of this, light population is almost non-existent. We built this place to be an escape or a place to unwind from our busy and loud daily lives. Embrace the break from the daily grind and find space here on the open desert. We opened to our first guests in October 2020 with only 3 bell tents, 1 bathroom and a kitchen inside a tent. Even though we have grown and improved the facilities, we are still a small husband and wife owned and run business. You will see us working and cleaning. When you call, email or have questions, you will be talking with us. We hope to welcome you! Guest access All spaces are available except the owners private living area. The area will be marked as private property. We have 22 acres plus we are backed onto State Trust Lands and BLM for hours of hiking, walking and mountain biking. Parking is free and any vehicle is welcome! Other things to note CHECK IN. Check in is anytime after 3pm. If you arrive after the office closes at 6pm, we have a simple self check in process. Your name will be on a mailbox with a laminated sheet that includes a camp map and instructions. More details will be sent 7 days prior to your arrival via Airbnb message NO PETS. However, we have 1 dog, free range kittens and many free range chickens. They will visit you in the parking lot, at the office, the kitchen and possibility even your unit. We've had some guests who are warry of chickens so please keep this in mind if you are one of them. They are friendly and fun to watch so nothing to be worried about.. POWER. Units do not have electricity. We provide battery packs to charge your phones. We do rent Jackery Power Units if you need power. DIRECTIONS Save these directions as you may not have cell phone service later! Type Glamping Canyonlands into Google and we will come up (not our physical address or you may be sent 30 miles past us). -We are only ½ off HWY 191 on HWY 211. We have blue Highway signs on HWY 191 just before the turnoff to HWY 211. -A quarter mile after the cattle guard, the first gravel parking lot will arrive on your right hand side. This is us. We have limited signage and lighting so pull into the first parking lot you see! -No parking next to your unit. Use the 3 carts provided to move your luggage. Please return carts when done so others can use them to check in or check out.
