Located near Summersville Lake, the Gauley River, Summersville Sate Park, New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and Fayetteville, my house sits on 16 acres to relax and get away from it all. My goal is to make the house comfortable but still have all you need to feel at home and hang out with your friends and family. I have owned this place for 17 years and have been wanting to share this place with others to experience this great place. Guests are able to use the entire main floor of the house. The basement/lower level is separate locked area that is used for storage and mechanicals only. Be sure to explore the 16 acres of woods, meadows, and the pond. Please refrain from climbing on the rocks and swimming in the pond. Fishing is permitted. However, water quality is usually better in the spring and fall. Please explore the 16 acres by hiking to the butterfly meadow, quarry, and the pond. Feel free to fish at the pond. My neighbors have permission to use this area as well. I will be available by phone and text if you need anything. I will also be close by during some rentals to provide any help if needed. The house sits right on Wilderness Hwy or Hwy 41 so its very accessible to Summersville Lake, Gauley River, New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, Summersville State Park, and Fayetteville. There are many vacation homes in the area and I would consider it large lot residential. My place is only accessible by car. Plenty of room to park in the driveway. Parking for boats is available but due to the configuration of the driveway, it will require some backwards and forwards to park it. Since the house is situated between Fayetteville and Summersville it best to do grocery shopping when passing though. Dollar General is right around the corner from the house but selection is limited. Fireplace in the pictures is not currently functional and cannot be used.
