Casita del Lago ("cottage by the lake") has lake-access with a gorgeous view of the lake! This charming cottage is 65 yards from renowned Clarklake, a 580-acre all-sports lake. Docking space is available if you'd like to rent watercraft (Eagle Point Marina is on Clarklake, and Rob's Rentals is on Devil's Lake and delivers) A public boat launch is available if you'd prefer to bring your own watercraft (please let us know in advance for either option.) The space Casita del Lago is quite the endearing little charmer! The airy openness and vibrant decor provide for a very inviting atmosphere. Open floor plan, high ceiling and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a coffee/tea bar. The dining table seats four, with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. A queen size sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space, as well as a convertible sleeper chair (better suited for our younger for a younger individual. There is a smart TV for all your streaming needs, as well as complimentary WIFI. One bedroom with a queen bed, spacious closet, nightstands and a dresser (guests rave about our mattress!) 1.5 bathrooms (with a walk-in shower and spacious vanity.) Small laundry area with stackable washer, dryer and washing bin. Private large backyard with fire pit, deck, patio table, swing, grill and a deck box full of outdoor toys for our younger guests. Relax along the hosts' lakeside in Adirondack chairs while our younger guests enjoy the beach (toys located in the deck box.) Explore beautiful Clarklake on our kayaks (five adult and two kids), canoe, paddleboat or paddleboard (seasonal.) Life jackets (assorted sizes for adults and kids) are located in the deck box by the water. Our lakefront is also offered to guests from our other two vacation homes. AUTUMN Celebrate autumn in all it's glory at Clarklake! Experience the explosion of colors with a kayak trip around Clarklake (seasonal.) The Irish Hills has so much to offer this time of year from festivals and haunted houses to apple picking, corn mazes and hayrides! WINTERTIME As the temperature cools and snowflakes flutter to the ground, Clarklake becomes a winter wonderland! There are many wintertime activities to enjoy in The Irish Hills. Go sledding at The Cascades, attend a winter festival, visit the quaint shops in downtown Brooklyn and have dinner in a heated igloo! After your winter adventures, warm up at Casita del Lago with cozy blankets and hot chocolate. CHRISTMASTIME Celebrate the holidays at Casita del Lago!
