The Carriage House is a private, stand-alone efficiency apartment in the 1500 block of Virginia St. in Charleston, WV. This two-story guest house sleeps 2, offers one King-sized bed and 1 bathroom (stand up shower), two blocks from the state capitol. Kitchenette has stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, sink, central AC/Heat w NEST thermostat, high speed fiber wifi, and 43 inch flatscreen TV w/ Roku streaming. Eff. washer/dryer in unit. There is a privacy fence around the entire backyard with gate access to get to the carriage house. Inside, the carriage house has everything one would need to be self-sufficient from a full apartment kitchen, a totally renovated bathroom and a good size bedroom with King-sized bed. Linens, towels/washcloths, and all the amenities of a kitchen are provided for cooking. The space is pet friendly, just add a guest for each dog starting with the 3rd guest. It is quiet and friendly but located within walking distance of some local dinning and bars. Because it is one of the flat areas of Charleston, there are nice sidewalks and great walking or running options. The Kanawha River is just one block away so you can walk on the river or get to the capital in just minutes. Uber and Lyft are available, as well as local taxi service C&H Taxi. From there you can follow the directions to help connect you to the company where you can ask for There is access to the local bus transit (KRT) and a trolley stop almost directly across the street. The open air trolley is a great way to explore the city with the weather is nice. Quiet hours from 9:00 PM-7:00 am. No smoking of any kind. No parties or gatherings at any time.
