This bright, cozy house set back amongst the trees and is the perfect setting for a respite from city life, a lake/ski vacation with family, or a change of scenery while working remotely. Lake view out front (no direct access) and 3 acres of wild woods to explore in the back. Explore all that the Sunapee region has to offer -Sunapee, Pat's Peak, Fells Estate, all within a 20min drive! The space We have put a lot of care into designing Sutton Cottage so that it is a comfortable vacation space for our family and for yours. It’s the perfect getaway in a gorgeous nature setting while just minutes’ drive from grocery stores, restaurants, and local attractions. An all season getaway- whether for skiing, swimming, hiking, or foliage-peeping. Many hiking and walking trails accessible within minutes. Check out our guidebook below with local recommendations. Follow us on IG @suttoncottagenh LAYOUT: There is an open concept main floor with a modern kitchen, living area and dining area. The wood stove is a feature of the space and makes for cozy nights by the fire. Hardwood floors throughout. Large smart screen tv in living room with Netflix, Disney plus etc and Voice activated speaker for music. A bedroom with a queen bed and full bath rounds out the first floor. Overlooking the main floor is a loft space with twin bed and desk in case you need to work (there is great cell coverage and fiber optic wifi internet). The ground floor has a large bedroom with a bunk bed (full and twin) and half bath. OUTSIDE: A large wraparound deck with grill and plenty of seating makes it easy to enjoy meals outdoors and to gaze at the stars at night. There is also a yard and firepit to enjoy. And don’t forget about the outdoor shower with a great view of the woods! The parking area can accommodate several cars. Walk across the street to watch a sunset (no swimming or boating). We have a 240V plug for EV charging if you have a mobile connector in the upper parking area that is accessible whenever there isn't a lot of snow. Walk right outside the door to hike or snowshoe while exploring the 3 acres of private land belonging to the property out back. FAMILY and PET FRIENDLY: The space is welcoming to all, including for families with young kids, as we have a high chair, crib, games, toys (including Legos) and books for use during your stay. Also lots of board games, puzzles, a small trampoline and a foosball table too! One small pet allowed on a case-by-case basis- please contact us first before booking with a pet (there is a $60 total pet fee). Guest access Access to entire home except for some locked owners’ cabinets/closets. Complete access to woods out back. Lake views out front. Lake across the street is privately owned by others so not available for swimming or boats but you can walk down to catch the sunset. Kezar Lake is just 7 min drive away for swimming and paddling. Lake Sunapee and others also nearby. Other things to note EV charger outlet in upper lot, might not be accessible when there is a lot of snow.
