Other things to note There is a bird sanctuary island on the lake, and you will see varieties of birds during your stay. Lake Swartout is not a great lake for water sports and or swimming. Pools are open during May to September (Opening and closings are cold weather dependent) *Please note this is not a swimming or recreational boating lake, lake is for viewing pleasure and small watercraft like kayaks or paddleboards. There are many public boat launches within a few miles if you want to bring your own boat. We are pet friendly but only allow 2 pets (dogs) for each reservation. This includes service dogs. To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests and maintain our property in excellent condition, we have a few guidelines for pet stays: Effective for all bookings after 12/31/24. Pet Fee: $30 for small dog, 40 medium dog, 50 large dog per night, per pet. Security Deposit: $250 per stay. The security deposit will be fully refunded through the platform if no damage occurs during your stay. These measures help us keep our home in great condition for you and future guests. To ensure the safety of both our guests and the security of our residence, we have strategically positioned external surveillance cameras around the perimeter of our home.
