Lake Fort Smith Frontier Lodge was built in 2002 featuring ceilings and exquisite wood work. Situated near Lake Fort Smith, with beautiful mountain views, our lodge features a very secluded and roomy place for your larger families or groups. The lodge comfortably sleeps 12 adults and is equipped with 2 kitchens, 2 full baths, 2 spacious living rooms equipped with large screen TVs, 2 dining areas, pool table, foosball table, 1 formal dining area, washer/dryer, 5 bedrooms and a hot tub. The space During summer, fall, winter or spring, sport's enthusiasts of all ages will find the lodge to be a premiere mountain vacation destination. Visitors can easily access some of the best hiking and biking trails nearby, or just simply relax and soak up the surroundings. you can truly enjoy a true mountain vacation at this mountain resort adjacent to the Ozarks National Forest. There you can explore nature's wonderful gifts of waterfalls, wildlife, and numerous trails. The ultimate in fun for everyone. If you have family members that loves animals this is the place. We have Penelope the pig, four goats and stocked pond that has catfish come up to the top of the water when you feed them. We do allow fishing, we just ask that you catch and release so other guest can have a great experience as well. We live on a small cabin on the property and upon request I can bring the animals over for a feeding and petting sessions. We have recently added a five porch swing set around the fire pit along with a 16ft movie screen. This works great to watch movies from your phone, DVD player or lap top. We have so many outdoor activities that include, volley ball net, basketball goal, corn hole, bad mitten, frisbees, and footballs. Other things to note We do ask for guest to stick with the maximum guest of 14. We are doing our best to keep the property and furniture in great shape and that is another reason we limit the max guest to 14.
