There are benches to sit outside and plenty of shade from all the trees on the lawn to enjoy a picnic outdoors or just walk the lawn. We also have hiking trails adjacent to the home. The property being rented is a Single Family Home, entire First & Second Floor. There will be no hosts or others sharing the areas of the house above being rented out. The basement is a separate apartment with it’s own exterior entrance/exit, driveway, parking space and even garage. The basement is not a part of this house being rented out. The basement can not be accessed from the interior of the home. We have a lovely couple that resides part time in the separated basement of this home. They frequently travel for work and reside here a few weeks in the month. They cannot enter the house you will be occupying and you cannot enter the space they live. Rental Space: The first floor has a formal dining, living room with foosball table, air hockey, family room, kitchen, sunroom with dining area in the kitchen, half bathroom, covered patio, 3 car garage, and an empty entertainment room connected to patio. The second floor has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We are located within the heart of Annandale, walking distance to major bubble tea shops - Gong cha, Ocha Tea, Snow Cream and The Block (a hip eatery oasis). There is a Day Spa with very affordable massages ($35/hr) on the same street as our home, called Cao Dung Day Spa. We are surrounded by beautiful greenery, there is a hiking trail directly behind our home, accessible across the street next to the golf course. A bus stop at the very beginning of our street, and we are right by two major highways - 495 and 395. Animal-free zone: This house is an animal-free zone as the host’s elderly mother & caretaker are both asthmatic and highly allergic. We have found deep cleanings are still not able to fully rid the house of animal dander after an animal has stayed. Fireplaces have all been closed for safety. A past incident left the entire house filled with smoke because the chimney damper was not opened when a fire was started. We have since closed access to the fireplaces at the property.
